Super sharp cutting and poking surfaces.
I have used these tools for, gosh, six decades, and whilst there are other brands, these are the best. They sometimes get broken or lost or worn out or permanently lost during a move, but tracking new ones down is always a pleasurable adventure.I thought I bought one set for a family member for xmas, but had a mishap/poke/click stumble and ordered an extra set and one more.I couldn't bear to return any of them, so one is in my studio and the third one travels with me to be shared at crafting events. The variety of tools is pretty darn sweet. Large, small, dainty or broad you should be able to find whatever you need. I am especially fond of the miter saw and brame. Please keep in mind that these tools and blades are designed to be used with relatively soft woods and small sizes/dimensions and are not suitable for use with even very soft metals, some use your big girl/boy tools for all other projects. These tools are for tiny, precise projects. I haven't read the manufacturer's instructions on use, but if those directions indicate that you can use them otherwise, ignore that.Still, be careful because they are REAL tools and are sharp enough to surprise you and knock you back on your patootie. If you've not yet figured this on your own, do not allow children of most ages to use them. These tools look toy-like but they are not. You will be very thankful for this reminder. I promise.Have fun making your own miniatures for dollhouses, train setups, jewelry and more.

Nice little set.
I bought this because I want to make a little diorama doll house room for a little Edward Tulane china rabbit doll I made and needed small tools. The wooden box the tools are packed in is beautifully made and nicely finished and all of the tools fit neatly inside. For those complaining that there is no handle for the saw, there is. Remove the blade from the red handled exacto knife and use that for the saw. The cardboard box it is packed in says made in the USA.

A good start, but it could be improved
The good:- Super convenient and less expensive than trying to assemble all the tools yourself.- The tools work.- Someone mentioned the plastic inside being cheap. That may be true, but it still holds the tools in place. I’ve had no problems with it.- There’s room to throw in your own tools. The mediocre:- It’s incomplete without pliers. As a beginner, I had to do some serious research to figure out what kind I needed and I’m still not sure that I got the ideal kind.- The slider on the ruler became loose pretty quickly.- I have no idea why there isn’t a grip for the saw when all the other tools that require grips have them. I haven’t needed to use the saw, but that’s a pretty important feature that’s missing.

GREAT KIT!
Love this kit so much! Everything it came with is useable. We figured out that the saw handle is the same RED one the comes with the kit. Made of good quality material. Only bad thing is the plastic that holds the items is pretty cheap and does not hold some of the items on the lid so when you open it the saw and wood wedge piece (which was settled in the plastic but when I took it out would NOT go back in) will not stay in place. It comes with a foam piece to keep upper and lower pieces from touching each other, so I just put everything back where it goes and carefully hold it in place as I close the lid. All the little pieces parts go where they should. It would really help if the manufacturer would put instructions in the box to tell people where all the parts go and which handle they go with.Other than those few little items, I Love this kit! Especially for making miniature dollhouses!

Nice little toolkit
This is a nice little toolkit for dollhouses. This is my first dollhouse and I've used about every tool so far. The saw has a shorter handle but I THINK you can use a handle from something else, but I just haven't figured it out yet. Sturdy tools, 3 exacto knives of various thicknesses gets the job done. Nice sanding block. I agree that some of the tools don't stay when you want to close the box, but what tool set does? Good purchase.

About every thing you need
Was placed behind house and now I can't figure out how to pay for it after reporting it "Not delivered" I do not want to accept it with out paying for it. It's a great and handy set of tools! If the company could please contact me and let me know how to pay? Thanks! And sorry about the confusion. It was delivered and placed behind a garage. I didn't think to search the yard for it.

Necessary for building a dollhouse
I love this tool set! I've remodeled one very large dollhouse and just finished a kit. You need this mitre box if you trim out a house or build furniture...I do both. Some say there's no handle for the saw blade, but there is - you are supposed to use the red handle for the saw.The set could use pliers and it could be cheaper. I'm appalled at the current price. I bought mine 10 years ago here for half the price and a set for my grand last year at 20 dollars less. But it's great and I use mine constantly.

Good tool box
Liked the wooden box for my tools but the tools could be better quality products. Only kept half of them and they wouldn't stay in their slots. Removed slots and now fits all my tools in one place.
