One of the best for the price works so much better than my old PWM controller charges so much faster and keeps my batteries topped off so much better.By using all the solar panels power!

This is the second unit I have purchased of this model. The first is still working flawlessly, however this one appears to be working improperly. I set this up on a camper with a 12v deep cycle marine battery and a 150w 34v panel. I got it all setup and running early in the evening and all the inputs(34v, .6 Amps) and outputs looked correct(13.8v,1.5amp), this was in evening indirect sun. I checked on it this afternoon, full direct sun and the panel reading said 14v, 0 amps, battery 13.0v, 0amps. Confirmed that panel is putting out 34v with a MM. This unit is not performing like the previous one. I may return it if possible!

The instructions are weak so this will go better if you have set a unit up before. The display is confusing because there are more numbers scrolling than amps, watts, and volts. Fortunately my inverter also has a voltage display.The display is not backlit so you can't see it at night, and during the day you have to look at it straight on, but it is an affordable unit. I have 5 (100W) panels and this controller handles the input on hot summer days and frigid winter days. Mount it on a slight angle so water or debris falls off.

The volt readout on the controller is .3 volts higher than it actually is.. I confirmed with 2 different multimeters as well as a cheap ebay volt meter i have mounted with it. for that reason, when it thinks it is fully charged, it actually isnt quite charged. and i cant change that without the add on display thing. pretty upset about that.

No support or repair for this item. It works well until it dies.
