Shimano brakes are very simple to bleed and this system makes it easy to do by including everything you need to get the job done. Quality fluid - tools that work to get the job done, including insightful additions like the Velcro straps for holding the syringe when you done have an extra pair of hands with you while bleeding. Another awesome add is the plunger that plugs the funnel for the reservoir so that when you unthread it it does not leal fluid all over the place. Gloves are included if you are a glove kind of person too (I hear there are people like that - I don't know...) Save yourself some money and get this kit and stop paying for bleeding brakes.

Rear brake performance on the wife's MTB was terrible. I bought this kit, unpacked the contents, and within 8 minutes the brakes were performing like new. The reverse bleed procedure (forcing the fluid through the bleed screw back to the master cylinder) is straightforward. A few tips: be sure that the line side of the caliper is above the bleed screw (you might have to angle the bike on the stand to accomplish this) or you may trap some air in the caliper. You can use a small adjustable wrench on the bleed screw (7mm spanners are uncommon). The procedure will have you attach the syringe to the bike frame with the provided straps. This may be helpful but frankly the bleed procedure goes so fast you really don't need to bother.

I bought this kit to help me with a brake upgrade on my mountain bike. The kit is awesome and includes almost everything you need to bleed brakes and install. The kit includes Shimano brake fluid which is great and the bleeding block allows you to help center the caliper on the rotor. The only thing it does not include is a block to hold the hose for the metal insert at the end of the hose. Note the bleed funnel has plastic threads so you have to take care to not strip the threads. Works great!!

Easy to use,but could’ve used a couple nozzle adapters for non shimano brakes,but I made it workBut also my fault for not making sure it was a universal kit

Used the $19 dollar Bleedzone kit with the cheaper flimsy plastic syringe, sorted out my XT squishy brake issue quick and easy.Looks like the cheapie kit will hold up for more uses but I bought the $26 dollar kit from Bleedzone with the higher quality hard plastic oil syringe for next time.Also kit comes with OE Shimano mineral oil, don’t want to risk compatibility, experimenting with non- shimano mineral oil

I was hesitant because I’m not savvy with bikes. I watched the video and it was easy once I got the hang of it. I have a Trek Dualsport 3 and I think it’s got Mt200 hydraulic system. I highly recommend this kit.

this kit worked out great for bleeding my Shimano BR-M615 brakes. My brakes are tight once again and I have a lot more confidence in my braking now! As others have mentioned, the funnel you screw into the brake reservoir/handle is plastic so do not overtighten because you will strip the threads.
