Yes, the pins work... Sort of
I read reviews about how people couldn't clone their remote and thought I had the same problem. But for giggles, I tried again.The pins are a little loose in the slots, so I picked up both remotes, applied a GENTLE downward pressure on each (not enough to bend the pins, but enough so the tips would have their ends pushed to the top of each slot).That was apparently the problem. Something wasn't touching what it needed to when they were both lying flat in the table. With that technique, I was able to quickly and easily clone both.I've now been able to replace my broken remote and have a spare in the everything drawer. We'll see how long they work.One point off for needing to figure out the gentle bend.

It really works!
So far so great! Just received this product and after months of not having a garage door that could open remotely, we finally do! We had another off brand remote that was NOT working and we also replaced our remote receiver on the actual garage door motor. NEITHER of these changes worked but this product did. Within five minutes, both were programmed and working. So thankful we didn't have to pay three times the price to get the name brand, original remotes.
