Motorcycle Headlight 7inch with Bracket Led Headlights White DRL Hi/Low Beam for Universal Motorcycle Harley Yamaha Triumph Cafe Racer

The headlight arrive in good time, with all the parts included, necessary to fit.It is well made and finished. The wiring connections are good, but the DRL connection is crimped with a female, which is incorrect. The standard H4 plug is moulded on. The lens is excellent and marked 'Motorcycle LED, SAE and DOT 9' (Spain), so should be perfectly legal for UK road use.The LEDs are Philips and, upon close inspection, the top ones are individually numbered 1,2 and 3!They produce a good white light. The dipped arrangement illuminates with a definite flat top, the high beam giving the characteristics of a central spotlamp.The included brackets are extremely basic in construction, I have chosen not to fit them, in favour of CNC aluminium units.I have not used the supplied M8 stainless steel bolts either, instead opting for M8 button head together with the essential Stainless Steel Shake Proof Washers, with Internal seriations.There is no bucket included, however the inclusion would probably not allow the effective generated heat to dissipate.'The But'.From the front and head on, the headlight looks great, but from either side, makes me wish I gone for a traditional round unit. The top of the lens projects forward, appearing as though the headlight has a peak, remenicent of the American 50s style cars.Many modern street bike of today with a shaped headlight are raked rearwards for an aerodynamic look.It a personal thing for me which detracts somewhat from an otherwise excellent product.

Excellent headlamp, light is really well focused and bright, very close to modern car headlamps.Good weight and and quality feel in construction

Quality of the light and it's output is fantastic. I'm new to biking and was told by se friends that most motorcycle headlights aren't great and that I may need to make do. I bought this and installed it (very easy to do I may add) and it's fantastic when driving at night (also it's daytime running but the night drives were it's obvious requirement). So much so that those friends so that light and it's output were pleasantly surprised and asked for a link to the light. Would and have recommended

Better lighting for day and night visibility. Easily fitted directly to old lighting plug. Fitted onto bike in less than an hour.

Absolutely brilliant, XSR takes a 8" lamp, so just made 2 wee rubber bushes for mounting, made from heavy duty fuel hose. Wiring easy, plug and play for the main and high, and wired the DRL connection onto my side light terminal, simple. looks amazing and more importantly the light quality is second to none :) happy days !!!

Before and after. It has a very precise cutout so not blinding the incoming traffic. In my excitement I forgot to take a picture with the high beam but I was able to see very clear the house at the end of the street, about 150m away 😲.Mounting wise...well, the brackets could be better. I had to use rubber sleeves so they don't slide down. Having an S2 bulb on the original headlight, I had to create a mini harnes to adapt from the original to h4 (in case I need to go back to the original).Now only time will tell how much is going to last.

Garage failed the headlight for beam pattern. Looks alright though. Lack of cable storage is a pain.
