Wow, this is the best one we'ver ever had.
We've bought a number of rice cookers over the years but this one has been fantastic. Cooked the rice perfectly from the first time we used it. The rice comes out completely cooked with no extra water hanging around and isn't dried out. No matter what the amount we put in the rice comes out perfect every time. We've had this unit for almost a year now. Hope, and we expect, it to keep going the same in the future. We definitely reccomend this rice cooker, we're very happy with it.

Dangerous Sharp Edge on Inner Rice Tray
The rice cooker would have been great, but the inner lip of the rice tray is dangerously sharp. When removing the tray to fill it with rice, I almost cut my fingers — and it’s even more concerning with kids helping in the kitchen. I’m including a photo for reference. Sadly, I cannot recommend this product because of the risk of injury.

Cheapest stainless steel rice cooker available
I bought this specifically for camping and using it with my inverter. I have $300 stainless steel pot rice cookerfor home use and dont take that thing out of the house. I needed a cheap to rice cooker that I didn't mind bang around and possibly breaking while still having a stainless pot. Rice doesn't stick in stainless if you know how to cook it. While this doesn't have all the bells and whistles that my $300 does. This one is better than my crappy one I had back in college. Warm mode will burn rice if left too long. When it clicks, wait 5 minutes then unplug it. It will stay warm plenty long and won't dry it out or burn

Nice cooker but slightly under cooks and burns when on warm
Bought this cooker to replace an older Tiger cooker. I chose this because of the stainless steel pot. I cooked some shirakiku white rice and for the most part it did well. Toward the bottom of the pot there were some under-cooked (crunchy but not burnt) rice. But over all it did well. I left the rice on warm overnight, which was a normal thing for the Tiger cooker, but ended up with a layer of brown burnt rice and very dry white rice on the top. I am not sure if this is due to the stainless steel pot or if its the cooker. I have cooked rice in an instapot and it works fine too but at times I need both at the same time. So I decided to return this and look for a newer Tiger cooker and will have to deal with the coated pot.

Very good rice ma.er
I did not realize it was so big. I should have, but I guess my eyes got the better of me.This is ia basic rice maker. It does a very good job at what it is supposed too. But unrealistic to expect it to do what the top end rice makers will do.Buy for the price this will make a great pot of rice.

Stopped cooking after being used 4 times
Rice cooker looked good, but after only cooking in it 4 times, it would only cook the rice halfway, then switch to Warm. Had to return it.
