Made me throw up
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Gone bad. I was so disappointed, I had this brand before from the store and it tasted great, but these were inedible like they’ve been on the shelf way too long.

Great meaty flavor for a snack or light lunch.
I love this as a snack or a light lunch. It has a great meat flavor. I enjoy the texture, although the very thick pudding like consistency may be off putting to some. I typically eat this spread onto European style crusty bread.

I like this stuff
Podravka Jetrena Pasteta Liver Pate is a rich, flavorful spread that’s perfect for snacks or appetizers. Its smooth texture and savory taste make it a delightful addition to crackers, bread, or vegetables. Conveniently packaged in a 3.5 oz portion, it’s a delicious and easy-to-enjoy treat. Highly recommended!

It was really good
I just ate this for my dinner today. It was really good with the less sodium ritz crackers I have. It wasn’t too salty like some brands. Good value for the money. The texture was good. I’ll be buying this again. Highly recommend!

Very mild, but with a nice texture
I had this straight from the can, at room temp, on crackers, Ritz specifically. I like liver of various kinds, sometimes having calves liver for dinner and make a supper of cod's liver once a week, so I wanted to try this. I would say that it is quite mild, though it has a liver-like flavor. Not too salty. I had to put a ~1/4" (6mm) layer on a cracker for the flavor to come through. If you've never had liver like this before, it is closest in flavor to bologna or, of course, liverwurst. It is blander than goose pate. In texture it was very smooth and consistent, not watery, not lumpy, a perfect spread. I think that I would put this on crackers, or perhaps on good bread, toast, or a sandwich. There's plenty in the can for a single meal at least, and perhaps two. I don't think it was sufficiently flavorful to buy again, I was looking for something like tinned calves liver so I could have an alternative to cod's liver if I ever wished, but all I could find was pet's food. If you've never had liver, this is a very mild way of trying it. If you have and you want a strong liver flavor, this isn't really for you.

Difficult to find ingredients
This is a very hard to find ingredient for one of my favorite gourmet recipes. Haven’t seen it in local stores for many years. Thanks, Amazon.
