This Alum stone is decent...probably the best from the local available supplies. Although somewhat higher priced but then it is more cohesive as compared to other local Alum stones I have tried which crumbled easily. Still, it is far from the best that I have tried (eg. Osma's small Alum block is so smooth although much higher priced and much smaller, as it appears to be made from a single block). From the available local products the Parker Alum block is fairly good and a cut above the other locally available options.

Got delivered broken alum. The seller JK international was very helpful in getting this replaced. Just helps in building the trust multifold in buying products from them

The quality of the local ones are not good and tend to break .Like the size and weight. It's heavy and smooth stone..didn't find any rough edges. Worth the price

Have used multiple alum blocks including local ones. I brought 2 seeing Parker brand as I have used other items from Parker. When it arrived there was a slight crack in both the blocks. Within 20 days both broke. When using the get rough with each use and you have to grind it slightly to use again
