Very age-appropriate scientific explanation of changes in the body in a kid-friendly format of a comic book. Explains the SCIENCE of where babies come from WITHOUT intercourse which is ideal for those who do not want to have "the talk", but who want their child to be aware of the changes in their body. The book has body positive messaging, cute, relatable, vulnerable stories and solutions for those situations. It is appropriate enough to share with young male family members who may see the changes in their young female family members and have questions. I recommend this book for every girl 8 and up.

I saw the author give a great TED talk about why she wrote it. I showed my eleven year old daughter the book and she acted disinterested at first, but I found it in her bed later, where she had been reading it privately. Perfect! So much wonderful info about hygiene, what is normal, feelings, cycle calendars, etc etc I highly recommend this book!

My daughter loved this book. It was a gift for her 8th birthday and in the story the protagonist turns 8 also and she love that part. It is very informative but in a fun way for young girls to learn, relate and enjoy reading.

Amezing book... Very useful....very much informative.. My daughter liked it so much that she finished the book within 30 minutes after receiving.. This book is so interesting due to its comic version, that children finish it in one go and they get understand the whole process very easily...without any confusion. Appreciate the hygiene focus as opposing to the sex-ed slant, most books have on the subject of puberty. The reader of the book is sharing it with her friends, it serves its purpose.

Topic is well explained, but a lot of modern topics such as period pants and more eco friendly parts are missing. The story is pretty simple. For us, not what we searched for.

This book is just the perfect book for girls who are going through puberty. We can start conversations with kids easily. It's more like reading a story than reading plain pages. Just age-appropriate and friendly.If your looking forward to buying this book, go for it. All the points in this book are really helpful and easy to understand. It also has stories which are age appropriate. Should be bought and used more. There are many myths going on about periods.This book also revealed if a myth was true or false. It will help pre-teens to be strong and be prepared for their mensturation. Overall perfect book for girls.
