Ever After High: Fairy's Got Talent (A School Story)

This story is great. It is true to the world of Ever After High. It is about Faybelle, daughter of the Evil Fairy who curses sleeping beauty, wanting to get the lead role of the evil fairy in the school play. She was born for that role after all. And she will do anything evil to get it. She has an adventure with backfiring magic. She learns a lesson the hard way. I loved this book.

My daughter (10 yo) loves the series. We preorder them when they come out. She reads them in less than a week. She loves the play on the traditional fairy tales. This is the second author in the series. I was apprehensive at first with bringing in a second author but my daughter is delighted with the texts. The stories are innocent in a world that seems to want to push adult themes to children.

One of the greatest books to enjoy took me no time to finish.

I've been enjoying reading the Ever After High books for a while now, and I love reading stories from the villain's perspective. I like to see character growth in these books, I just wish the series would stick to a certain set, for both good and evil and see them flourish into their predestined rolls, or not. Instead, I've been seeing many diverse characters (which is nice) but they feel half formed. Which makes me feel this going to be one of those book series, that was great but had too many characters and not enough about the actual story or plot for this to go anywhere.
