Works great, quality build, and easily touches up to blend in with your rock garden!
I needed a way to store a key in case of an emergency. This looked perfect for my yard, so I snagged one up. The overall appearance looks fairly life-like, but I have lava rocks in my flower beds, O I took some brown, black, and dark red spray paint and gave it a slight touch up, filled my a light dusting of lava rock powder while the paint was still wet. You can't tell the difference between this and a real lava rock. Blends perfectly and only I know where it's located. Highly recommend!

Neither One Would Open
I purchased this “rock” key hider expecting a simple, reliable way to store a spare key outside. Unfortunately, the first one I bought wouldn’t open at all, no matter how I tried. Thinking it might just be a defective unit, I returned it and ordered a second one. The second had the exact same issue — completely stuck and impossible to open. At that point, it was pretty clear this wasn’t just bad luck. If a basic key hider can’t be opened right out of the package, it’s not usable. I ended up returning both and looking elsewhere. I really wanted this to work, but I can’t recommend it based on my experience.
