Conveniently collapsible and lightweight but......
I like the fact that it's collapsible. I just don't think that the thin aluminum material will last long. Certainly not on larger fish. The gaff hook is sized for larger fish, but I don't think the shaft is strong enough to handle them.

Disabled person’s package retriever
I no longer have to struggle to get out on the porch to retrieve a package. I open the door and impale the package with the gaff and pull it into the house.

Used on a 30 lb blue cat. Worked great. No issues wouldn’t have got it on the boat otherwise.

It's fine
It's OK. Nothing fancy about this thing, sort of middle of the road. Worth the purchase price, just nothing to get excited about with it i guess. Hope that helps.
