I like it
Pops well. My grandkids love it. I don't take it apart to clean it because it was a little difficult to assemble. I clean it with a vinegar/water spray bottle and paper towels.

Watch Out For Sharp Parts!
I’ve had this machine for about 4 years now and it’s worked well. We use it weekly. I have a family of four and one batch is usually enough for all of us. Sometimes I make a second but there’s a lot left over. It takes me about 15 minutes to clean using a bucket of water/cleaning vinegar. My only complaint is that it has very sharp edges on some of the parts inside and I’ve cut my hands multiple times while cleaning it. Once so badly I thought I might need stitches.

Movie theater flavor
Compact size makes it easy to move around and store but is a little hinderance when cleaning. You will have some unpopped kernels which I believe is due to the shallow kettle, commercial kettles of the same capacity are much deeper, another compromise for size. HINT: Don't mess with less than full 8oz batch as efficiency seems to diminish - not sure why. Have read other reviews about smoking, don't have a clue, also about magnetic latch misalignment which I concur, it does have some adjustment but I also shimmed the magnet down for better alignment. FORMULA: ( I have had great success using this recipe ) 2 1/2 oz. popping oil, I use Orville Redenbacher's or Kernel Season's, 8oz pop corn, generic Meijers, Krogers, IGA yellow or white and 1 teaspoon Flavacol seasoning. Oil first and like stovetop directions put a few kernels in the oil and heat. When a kernel pops it's time to dump in the corn and seasoning together, this coats the popped kernels evenly with no need to add anything after popping. Also stay close and LISTEN FOR POPPING TO SLOW DOWN and dump the kettle, don't wait for it to stop or you will have burnt corn. Overall we love this machine and the flavor is far superior to microwave. My overall impression is that compared to commercial machines that can run thousands of dollars you can't beat it for the money. I recommend this product.

Easy to assemble
This popcorn machine is exactly what I was looking for to support my family’s love of popcorn! It was easy to assemble, worked as promised and gives a genuine movie theater/carnival vibe to our special occasions. It can handle 2 full 8oz loads of popcorn at a time. The heat lamp does a good job keeping kernels warm.

Chewy Popcorn
I love the machine though my popcorn comes out tough and chewy. I have tried popcorn packets and oil combos, Orville Redenbacher, and mushroom popcorn. I’ve used coconut oil and Crisco. When I checked the temperature of the heated pot, it was 425-450. It should be 350-400. HELP if anyone knows what to do.
