Great for cedar shingles!
I used these to install cedar shingles on my house. I had a medium size area that had some water damage that the previous owner did not address. Since a bunch of the shingles were rotten, I had to replace them with new ones. I used these fasteners, and the BOSTITCH N66 Coil Siding Nailer. They performed flawlessly. No issues with jamming, or the nails themselves. The ring shank offers a super strong hold. And being stainless, I don't have to worry about them bleeding into the cedar. They also coming in a plastic tub, which is nice for storage.Cheers!BOSTITCH N66C-1 1-1/4-inch to 2-1/2-inch Coil Siding Nailer with Aluminum Housing

These nails are good quality and had no jams with over 500 uses with Metabo nailer.

Nails are excellent
I replaced 50 year old cedar shingles with Hardi-shingle using these nails exclusively for the shingles (and other SS nails for trim). The nails were put on using a Bostich N66C. THere were a few jams and double fires but way less than 1%. The jams came from a piece of the wire that joins the nails getting caught between the rod that hits the nail and it's housing. Easy to clear with a hammer and punch. I blame this mostly on the nail gun, not the nails. The nails were perfect.

Ok nails
Working Ok so far. I got a jam every 400-500 nails, not sure because of my nail gun or the nails.

Great Nails!
These nails worked flawlessly in my Makita nailer and the nail's grip is outstanding. You'll see what I mean if you put one in the wrong place.
