I love the idea it doesn't use batteries. Tried a solar one had to make sure it got enough light. Then that broke this airscale I expect to last forever....time will tell.

I have had a Taylor scale for many years. It finally died and I tried another one of the same make, but had to return because it was not at all consistent or accurate. I ordered this one and have been thrilled at the way it works. Just step on the button a few times and wait a couple seconds for the zero to come up, then step on it and get the reading. Foot area is large enough for my size 12 feet and the button does not interfere with foot placement. The only thing I wish was different is the display. It's the old black numbers on gray background, which is not backlit. Maybe the next version will have enough juice to have an LED light in it. For now I am glad to put up with turning on the bathroom light to get the battery free-ness and an accurate reading.

I have used a self charging, battery-free scale for a few years and enjoyed having a digital scale that didn't require battery changes. Mine conked out after being "overcharged" by an overzealous and enthusiastic small child. I didn't know that was possible. I searched for a replacement and this scale was a really nice upgrade. My old charging button was in the center of the scale. This one is right at the front where you step on...much more convenient. It's also longer to accommodate a larger foot so it doesn't tip as easily as my last one. It has a clear, digital read out and it charges with only one or two pushes of the button with my toes. It reads my weight accurately (I weighed myself with it and then again at my doctor's appointment). I am careful with it because it is made of glass and I do not step on it with wet feet because I think the glossy surface would be slippery when wet. I am very pleased with this scale and would definitely purchase it again.

This is a stylish attractive easy to use scale! You can weigh yourself, and that’s what I wanted, none of the other technology that accompanies scales these days. But this has a magical way of not needing batteries. I just love this scale, so pretty in white, easy to read! ❤️

Although I liked the features of not needing batteries, lightweight, easy to read, I was very disappointed when after about 2 months use I was getting inaccurate readings. Not possible that my weight went down by 10 pounds from one day to the next and that was happening more often than not. Return window is closed so I am now looking elsewhere to purchase a new scale. I cannot trust the readings any longer.

I love it so much, it saves my money to buy batteries, I don't have to worry about the battery needs to be replaced or taking it out if the scale is not in use for a long time. It's very easy to use, just press the button by using one foot and pump it then you've got power, it's ready! It's green, is good for our earth and environment. I use it every morning!!

I had two individuals who knew their weight stand on the scale to determine it's accuracy. It came within 1/10th of what their scales said so it appears to be fairly accurate. I also like the fact that no batteries are required. Three pumps and it's ready to weigh you. Just ignore it's screams when it sees how much you weigh.
