I like these because I don't necessarily like the plastic takes. Some of the camp locations we go have hard ground. The plastic ones will bend and chip over time. These are basically large nails that drive into the ground and won't bend as easily. They have the plastic ends so that you can secure your line to them for the rainfly and to keep your tent secured to the ground. Overall, these are nice.

I purchased these to replace stakes that came with shrub covers (which over time break) and deer blinds (which bend when hitting rocks, etc.). I am very pleased with these. They are sturdy, are good in rocky soil, and do the job in holding down whatever I am using them for.

Good product. I would give it 5 stars but 2 of the stakes had the plastic heads break off when we tore down. The ones that held up, made unstaking a tent quite a bit easier.

I have purchased a few different types of anchor/pegs for various things (tent, tarps, etc.). The others I have purchased have broken quickly, been too difficult for me to insert in to the ground (without a mallet), too difficult to remove, or too difficult to latch a grommet to. These were very easy to use. Went in the ground with ease (just stepped on it), stayed put, and removed easily by hand. Would definitely recommend.

I don't care what type of tent stake they make, these have ALWAYS been the best type and it's getting harder to find. I use these stakes to tack down a tarp under my gazebo...I remove the plastic heads and use a large washer (no tripping over stakes or pegs). The newer products just don't allow that. Plus, they stay in the ground better than the new types. If I could have found a box of 50, I would have gotten them!

This is just what I needed to anchor a tripod to the ground. It is connected to a 10 foot mast with a ham radio antenna (vertical) attached to the top. It has been through 20MPH sustained winds and 50 MPH gusts. It the pouring rain. I live in the northwest so the ground is usually very wet. I used 2 stakes in the holes of each leg of the tripod and it is still solid as a rock. Thanks

After purchasing and comparing these to other stakes I had I realized they aren't galvanized, and they aren't as long or thick. They will likely work fine, but not as good as the others I have.
