In the past, these boards have had an issue with warping if put through the dishwasher. Has the manufacturer fixed this problem?

No all four of the larger sizes we own eventually warped

What is this cutting board made of? It shows cut marks does the plastic or ? get into your food?

I love this board. Only use it for meats, and no the plastic does not come off, and if you look close you can see some cut marks; however, the marks are hard to see because the color is the same throughout. Not sure of the material.

Is this cutting board heat resistant? If so to how many degrees?

It is NOT heat resistant. If you use it as a trivet it will be damaged. It is a cutting board only.
