NOISE IS SIMILAR TO THE ROAD
I liked that it came mostly assembled. One side fit over the nut for the wheel. The other side is tapered for the axle that is enclosed and does not fit over the nut on as well. So far it has not been a problem. It's too much trouble to replace the rear axle with the one supplied. Other than that it is a good solid product.

Good Bike Trainer
I bought this back at the end of Dec 2020. It was delivered fast from the manufacturer I believe, and it was packaged well. The set up was a bit tricky for me, maybe not for some that don't care much for detail. No matter how much I tried I could not get the back tire of my bike to be centered on the roller of the trainer. I contacted customer service and they got back to me within a few hours. They felt it was because my bike tire axil width was extra wide. That was not it, I have a standard road bike from the early 1990s with a quick release skewer. The thing is that the red handle on the trainer when pushed down should come out further into the center, that is the issue. I replaced my skewer with the one they supplied, that helped a very small amount, the end caps on that skewer come out a bit more than my skewer. Other than this the trainer works very well. It is relatively quiet, yeah it does make some noise depending what gear I have my bike in, what resistance I have on the dial and also how far the knob is turned in on the trainer roller. The tires on my bike are like bald skinny tires so that helps I am sure. I wear earbuds so its basically quiet to me. There was a learning curve to using the resistance dial, but once you figure it out and how to use the dial resistance levels with the different gears on your bike, you can pretty much find the resistance you want. You also have to figure how much to tighten the resistance knob on the trainer to get this all to work. Also my bike on the trainer is relatively stable. I bought a KOM trainer block to use with it, and the combo works pretty nicely. I can even stand up and pedal from time to time, which I do carefully. I have been using this trainer about twice a week for about an hour each time since January and I am very pleased with it. Customer service also refunded a percentage of the price because of my trouble. So for me at least - good product, good company.

Good value, solid design
It just arrived today and I rode it for an hour. It is really good value. Solid construction and super easy to set up. I see reviews from people saying they had trouble setting this up?? Not sure what they are doing but ignore those reviews. It took me all of 5 minutes to get it up and running. I use it in the garage on solid flooring so it is pretty darn quiet. I could listen to soft music without headphones or earbuds easily. It has no bells or whistles... it just does exactly as it is intended. Would buy again if needed a second one.

Read the description for fitment to you bicycle.
I absolutely love this trainer!! It could not be easier to set up. It is not silent but it is far from loud. From the time I removed it from the box until I was using it was maybe 7-10 minutes. I could not possibly be happier with this product.

Solid, easy to setup, worked out of the box for my 1978 Peugeot road bike
I have this on a mat on the floor next to my treadmill. Between the two, I get more exercise (measured by sweat) on the bike than on the treadmill. I've taken to using both along with hand weights for an all-around good workout. As mentioned, this went up quickly and fit the lugs on my 1978 Peugeot road bike with no modification (other than normal adjustment). Feels solid and after 4 or 5 rides shows no issues. I did learn not to crank the roller onto the tire too tight-- was noisy when I did so and unnecessary, when I backed it off, I was able to find the best setting to avoid slippage with the least force-- quiet enough for me to easily watch TV as I ride...

Too noise and vibration, despite advertised "Smooth & low noise design"
First off, the Amazon entry says: "{SMOOTH & LOW NOISE DESIGN]: Smooth exercise bike trainer is necessary for riding at home. The noise reduction wheel makes it almost no sound for the wheel on the trainer." **Simply not true**Once you get up to speed, the resistance device is noisy and sends strong vibrations through the handlebars. Tried this with two different bikes, one with minimal tread and one with smooth slicks. The trainer's resistance unit spins smoothly at low rpms. As your speed picks up so does the noise and vibration. This was purchased as a gift in December 2020. We got it back because in was never used, still in the box.Very easy to set up. Quite sturdy. This would not work out if you have an apartment neighbor below. Maybe it would be OK in a garage if you insulate your hands from the vibration somehow.

Too loud!
It’s great, just too loud, I thought I was going to be able to watch TV while getting some exercises done, impossible!! Too noisy, other than that…it’s good!

IMHO it's not that loud (while far from being quiet).
I purchased this as exercise moves indoors and being reluctant to go to the gym. I was a bit worried from some reviews saying it was loud and some were saying it's flimsy, and some are saying it's hard to install the bike due to poor instructions. Here is my experience.1) Loudness -- We installed a comfort bike with moderately knobby tires and pretty high pressure against the tires to make the resistance pretty high. How loud is it? a) you can hear music when you use (Cheap) headphones or earbuds. a) You'd not sit in the same room and watch TV. c) You can go down the hall. shut a door and be well isolated from the sound, do a zoom meeting, watch TV, etc. This seems fine to me.2) Flimsiness -- we've has this for some time and use it every day for over an hour a day on the average. It's made of steel holds the bike solidly and is holding up perfectly. Even if I tried I could not describe it as anything but robust. I don't understand the flimsiness reviews.3) Hard to assemble. I am reasonably handy. I did not consult with the instructions. You remove a part from the bike and install a corresponding (supplied) part so that the rear tire will mate with the fixture. To me, it was obvious. The only hitch is that the bike Just _barely_ fits into the holders for the rear axle. I had to nudge it. I think it'd be a better training stand if it was a half-inch wider or so.It is reasonably priced, fit for use, and works well for us. Money well spent.

Great!
I liked the fact that I was riding my regular bike rather than another stationary bike. It has been a great alternative when the weather precludes walking outdoors, too cold or wet.
