Purchased this cargo carrier to transport a heavy (230lb) mobility scooter. Assembly is fairly straight forward; but, do recommend having a second set of hands. Installing the assembled carrier is easy; again, might want to have a second person as the hitch can get heavy when lining up with the hitch receiver.Also, if cargo is similar to a four-wheeled scooter, may want to add metal plates under the scooter wheels to spread the weight out over the metal mesh of the carrier.

Since day 1 it has caused me trouble. I've had this caddy for 6 months as of writing this review.The trailer ramp is a pain because it's not grippy enough for the chair to get up, so you have to not only drive the chair onto the ramp, but push the chair so that the driving wheels get onto the ramp itself. The caddy, even with the stabilizers, is loose and bounces, and with my chair on it the caddy scrapes the pavement and even speed bumps. The reflective stickers are a joke and fell off within a week. (Like dollar store reflective stickers stayed on it longer than the reflective tape this comes with. I had to buy extra tape to put on it.) The caddy had to have extra stuff so the thing was even stable. The wire body that the chair sits on is already bending under the weight of the chair. The tongue that goes inside the trailer hitch is way too long, so much so that my caddy was even hit in a parking lot one time. (that was more on the other person, but still the thing stuck out really far. ) The straps it came with started to fray and come apart within a month and I had to buy new straps.I am not sure I would buy this again. It's way better than my old caddy, but it's not the best. I would not buy again.

Easy to assemble lught weight all and all worth the money. Love that it folds up!

It’s very Wobbly when things are on it.. No instructions to put it together..

I don’t ofter write product reviews but, in this instance, I am delighted to do so. This product appears to be very well made and designed for my intended use… safely transporting a mobility scooter. It was easy to assemble, contained all of the required hardware, and did not require many specialized tools other than metric wrenches. The directions were more than adequate, the published inside dimensions were accurate, and it included needed additional accessories (hitch stabilizer bracket and ratcheting tie down straps) that, with similar products, would have to be purchased separately.

Assembly was fast and easy. Directions were clear and easy to follow. Assembly was quick. I actually use this for my mini horses to get inside of my SUV. It's very sturdy.
