Plantable Pots, Square, 4-In., 12-Pk.

We’ve been using these in our garden since we discovered them long ago. These are the 4” square. They have many options to choose though. We use them mainly for tomatoes and peppers started from seed and then they’re easily transplanted to 3” or 4” Cowpots before hardening off in our cold frame. Then it’s straight to the beds - No transplant shock and the roots are already surrounded by nutrients from the Cowpots. Genius recycling idea! They hold up great prior to planting and they decompose completely after planted - feeding your plants and amending your soil. And no, they don’t have any odor at all.

I love being able to get a head start on spring with my Cow pots.

I buy these every year. They work great and are better than peat pots. I even tear the tops off of these and plant them underneath plants that were in other kinds of pots when I move everything to the garden. They all get the benefit from the cow manure that way.

These pots really surprised me with how sturdy they are. They are thicker than you usually see in a biodegradable pot and much sturdier. Love the concept of not using plastic or even peat. Will try and remember to come back and add to review after a season of using them in the garden. Hoping these will become popular so that the price can come down a bit.

They work okay but fall apart easily. Could be thicker.

It’s so smimple, fill with potting soil, add seeds water and love. When they have grown to small plants take the whole pot and plant in the soil. There will be less root shock, you can even see the roots growing the side of the planter cup.

They. hold up better than most and arrived in perfect condition.

Great starter pots but I have a problem. I think they attract bugs. Not good.
