I bought this for my Nikon Nikkor 28mm, however it caused a lot of vignetting on the corners due to it being a wide lens. I also tried using it on a 24mm which is also a wide lens and the same happened. So I decided to use it on my trusty 45mm Nikkor Pancake Lens and it was perfect. I immediately went out and used it and loved it. I love the weight on this hood, it feels strong and very sturdy. I've read reviews of people saying that it's expensive, however the quality you are getting is more than worth it. It screws on well, functions perfectly...It made me love using my classic 45mm once again.This is a great buy!

Just received the Haoge square metal lens hood for my Nikon Z fc. Lens hood material and lens cap are made with metal with black satin color. Items are well packed in the box, the instruction is a bit confusing. Only showing installation for Fuji camera and Sony but did not mention anything for Nikon camera!It took a bit trials and I have to be super gently to avoid scratching the new Nikon 28mm SE lens. Finally it fit perfect. I saw a note from other reviewer here mentioned can't fit the filter eventhough he had the same Z fc, similar 28mm Nikon lens as mine. Just take a look at these photos and I hope it helps.

Screwed onto my Fuji X mount lens with no problem. Not only is it good looking, but it also is very functional

Threads onto all of my lenses very smoothly and feels very sturdy. The slip on cap feels great and stays on well. I use it on as wide as 24mm without any noticeable vignette

I had read other reviews suggesting this works with 24mm lenses, but I don’t know how; the vignetting was strong and it just didn’t actually help with flaring/ghosting like I had hoped at all. Maybe it’d be better with a longer focal length, but if you were planning on using this with a 24mm I’d recommend saving your time and money.

Great quality Square Metal Lens hood with cap. Only complaint for mine was the adjustment ring took a large plyers to initially free. Could have been put on when the paint was still tacky.Only con in general. Seems to be very limited in size offerings.
