I have been shining shoes for over 25 years. I have done this as my profession, and I love what I do. This is the best dye on the market because of the way it is packaged. It doesn't leak, it is easy to apply, it can work as edge dressing, and I have found it effective for both oiltan and high shine boots. The bottle is stable, and the sponge is well attached I think it's a quality product with quality die. And it's the perfect size for a bar kit.

It would have been helpful had there been some instructions included on the label as to how to use the product. It was a little confusing how to get the dye to initially flow from the bottle and then kind of messy to use. However, after several repeat applications of the dye, with time to dry and buff in between, it seems to have improved the areas of my leather sofa that had problems.

I did an almost PhD research on how to restore a black leather jacket that had lost its black color where my purse rubbed with it and where the hands go inside the pockets. The "professional" dyes sounded like very risky and a lot of mess, plus they needed a deglazer before and a sealer afterwards. I decided to buy the Kiwi dye and use it in a hidden spot on the jacket. It went on well. I applied it close to the pockets and it covered all the rubbed off areas pretty well, so I went ahead and covered all the faded spots. I had to apply a bit more on some very worn out areas, but the Kiwi dye ended up covering everything without strikes and without anyone being able to tell where the dye had been applied and where it wasn't. My jacket rejuvenated to an almost new appearance! The only telling sign was a slightly different finish to the touch on the dyed areas, but nothing evident. I waited 24 hours, as per the instructions and I polished the dyed spots. They came out looking even better, and no dye at all came off on the polishing rag. I am totally satisfied. Good price, no mess, quick application, excellent results. No need of pre- and post- products, other than thoroughly cleaning the jacket with a rag impregnated with slightly soapy water to wipe away dirt/oils. What else could one wish for? So do not believe what Marcus wrote in another review. This dye CAN be used to restore larger items, with very good results. And I am not the only reviewer who says so!

I bought this product to bring color back to my pick up trim, one pass did it, using a plastic shield behind trim to prevent getting on the paint. Worked great. Wear gloves

Too long to arive

Does what I was hopi g it would do, dye my swede UGG boots after they were totally tarnished (kept them in direct sunlight for over 5 months)
