I thought the saw was a little bulky and slightly heavy. You might think this is bad, but no !The bulk of it ment it is well built and sturdy. The weight off it helped with the sawing. In stead of pushing or forcing the saw through the wood the actual weight of the item actually cut through wood like butter. I changed the battery full the night before and twice more in the day to cut down a garden shed 15 foot by 12. From around 07.30 till about 18.30 through 2 x2 or 50mm Sq and 2 x3 or 50mm X 75mm and enough tongue and groove to cover the whole shed then plus the flooring. The the price ,bulk and weight it is well built and sturdy enough without paying big money for the more well-known makes. so I would give this five stars and recommend anybody buying one and using it for a similar procedure or just simply cutting tree branches and pruning.

I wa caught short back in 2020, needing this kind of a saw for a project I had. I finished what I was doing by hand saw and thought 'never again'. Looking on Amazon, this saw seemed te perfect fit for the uses I would have for it and so decided to make a purchase. When it arrived I was very impressed. It was a good, sturdy piece of equipment. I duly charged it up, tested that it worked and put it away until it was needed. That day was yesterday.After retrieving the saw from its storage place I attempted to use it, but it was dead. Not a problem. I put the battery on charge while I did some other work and came back 30 minutes later to start the planned sawing. The battery light was green; all was good. Except it wasn't. The saw still failed to work. Pressing the start button produces a muted sound that could be a relay trying to engage,but no motor engagement. The saw is as dead as the proverbial dodo. Needless to say I'm unimpressed by my £60 purchase and when I look for a replacement will stay well away from Blue Ridge.

Powerful but a bit of a beastie to control I'm acclimatising to it, it will do the job but I preferred my Einhell but I couldn't find a garden tools service that would honor the warranty.

I like this little saw. It does the job and saves time. Good value for money well packaged, thank you!

This reciprocating saw works very well - its a good size and weight, vibration and noise are fine and importantly it cuts very well.I have no complaints at all, the only thing to be aware of is that the battery life is not that long - I reckon about 30 minutes of fairly heavy use with the supplied battery, so a spare would be helpful for intensive use.

Great piece of kit

After approximately 40 minutes on charge the charge indicator was changing from red (not charged), to green (charged) and back to red quite randomly. This was clearly due to a faulty battery or charger. Conscious of the high risk of fire from faulty lithium batteries returned for refund. Also be aware that matching (18v 2ah) replacement/spare batteries for this tool are not available.
