My daughter is turning 5 and she wanted a “real” baby doll like the ones at the fancy toy store by us. It has a nursery and the dolls are $200+…yeah…no… I went to Amazon instead lol.This has mixed reviews at best, but I think if you are ordering this for a child you will not be disappointed. A lot of people are comparing this to a super expensive reborn doll, this is not that! This is a realistic looking TOY doll. I did get this during the prime sale so it was under $40 and it looks so beautiful!The veins and skin are so lifelike. The hair is painted but looks just like newborn hair. It’s very realistic and beautiful. It is smaller than a newborn baby but for a child I think it’s the perfect size.My daughter wanted a boy doll, so I changed the outfit. The clothes in this picture are premie clothes, which are actually a bit snug in the legs of this sleeper outfit. I also tried newborn outfits. Pants are perfect in newborn. But again for a child’s toy, you could do either newborn or premie sizes.The mouth fits a pacifier with a bit of help, or you can snip a regular pacifier and it goes in pretty easily.Now if you want to really get more from this doll ADD WEIGHTIt is not weighted at all. There’s a lot of videos online showing you how to do it, and it’s not intimidating. For $10 I made this doll realistically weighted and perfect for my daughter.I bought5lbs worth of sand at the dollar store (you can purchase different weighted materials but I was going for cheap)Zip tiesNylon knee highsA small crochet hookFor $10 I was able to weight this doll to almost 5lbs total, it really feels like a baby now!There’s a ton of stuffing in the legs and arms, use the crochet hook to get it all out of the limbs, then refill all the limbs with sand.The body and head were overstuffed. I removed a lot of stuffing and didn’t refill the body all the way after adding my weight sacks, but I made sure the head was completely filled after adding that weight sack.Watch a few videos about weighting reborn dolls, it’s not hard and really makes this doll so lifelike. How I weighted the head now makes it move like a newborn head and just brings it to life.Is it worth the purchase? If you have a little kid who wants a baby doll that looks real, YES! Even as is. It’s perfect out of the box for a child. It is smaller than a real baby, premie sized, but still very realistic.If you want to go there extra mile with this add weight. I only spent $10 and got everything at the dollar store. The extra $10 and time makes this thing so unbelievable.

I love this sweet preemie baby from Jizhi. I bought her when she was on sale for $39.99 and I think she is a great value at that price. Straight out of the box she is fairly realistic looking aside from being overstuffed, but keep in mind that most any of these "reborn" dolls on Amazon, regardless of the seller, will be. To make them more realistic all you need to do is use scissors to clip the cable ties to remove the head and limbs and then remove some of the stuffing. I weighted this little girl with micro glass beads, then restuffed her and put her back together with new cable ties and as you can see from my pictures she looks convincingly realistic now, as well as feels and moves like a real baby in your arms. I think she would be perfect right out of the box for a child, but if you want her to look, move, and feel more like a real baby then you'll have to do a little work on her. I have bought two other Jizhi babies and they are all adorable. I highly recommend this seller and would definitely buy again.

My daughter is devastated. She wanted this baby as her friend has one. However, what we received was nothing like the pictures. The hands are different, the “hair” looks different, mouth appears to be different and the quality of the baby we received is terrible compared to what we expected from other reviews.

I was very hesitant in purchasing these dolls (purchased two for my granddaughters) but was EXTREMELY happy that I did! The dolls are gorgeous, very realistic and surprisingly surpassed my expectations. The price was great considering these dolls are so expensive but my granddaughters were beyond excited when they received them. Very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend them.
