ELMERS X-Acto Curve Knife with Cap, Red (X3034Q)

this was smaller that I thought it would be but still works and it feels nice in the hand. only real complaint is that the handle material attracts and holds dirt and dust like no other.

I loved the handle on this knife - much more comfortable than the standard x-acto metal handle. But after a couple of weeks of use, the blade would loosen with use (primarily cutting parts for card models). And last night after tightening the knob, it just plain broke off. Hence 1-month-old knife straight into the trash.

I purchased this X-Acto knife to replace a much more basic version which I felt was hard to use, and seemed to have issues with the blade becoming unscrewed and falling out.This knife was a fantastic replacement for the regular X-Acto. It has a slight cushiony feel which makes the tool a lot easier to use. The handle has a matte feel to it, so it does not slip or slide when in use. The blade stays screwed in tightly and the ergonomic shape makes using the knife a whole lot easier for someone suffering from carpel tunnel syndrome.It's also a nice muted red color which makes it easier to find among my supplies than the thin black handle of my previous knife. The cap fits securely so I do not get cut or poked when digging in my bag to find it and the blades are easy to replace.I have used this knife for cutting paper, picture mount, foam board, magazine pages, photos, card stock and cardboard and always get a nice clean cut. I highly recommend this knife for many kinds of cutting!

Product exactly as described. Worked well until I had to change the blade, when the bottom part suddenly fell off and now I can't screw it back so the blade is loose.

Finally!!! An X-Acto handle that doesn't roll away and stab you in foot! Nice weight, balance, and thick enough for someone with big hands to use and not get cramps after a few minutes of use!

It's a nice knife but it doesn't have any durability on my brand new knife the shaft bent and the knife is now useless in less than a week! I use it only on light plastic modeling nothing heavy duty other regular plastic handled knives always last me at least a year which isn't enough but I guess I get my money's worth since I use them a lot. I have switched back to the regular all metal hobby knives to see if they last longer on me so far they are better I just miss the grip material a little bit .

Fantastic. Well constructed and works well. Its to bad the blades I ordered with this got split in two orders. I'm still waiting. I don't believe the sellercan't get the blades. I when to cancel and immediately blades were shipped. Funny though......There is no tracking number!

La lame sort quelques fois toute seule. Il faut resserrer continuellement la bague.
