Fun game even for two players.
Highly suitable for gamers interested in marvel theme in general, had a good fun playing it. Love the fact each character has their own unique and distinct style objectives and style of playing. So far only playing in 2 players and still have a great fun, especially when playing allies to other villains domain or stack fate cards. The only thing I dislike and like is that the fate cards are shared, and some might only effective to certain villain, so it might happen that drawing continues ineffective fates cards and feel frustrating, which it’s the case in Disney Villainous if I’m right. Well that’s fate isn’t it, as the rulebook says. On the contrast because the fate deck is shared, it feels more like all the villains live in the same universe as the game goes. Love the event cards system gives the fate deck extra flavors.Overall it’s a great game, quick and a good one. Even for two players are lots fun.Note: sleeved all the cards and I don’t think the original organizer is designed for that, they fit but the box couldn’t close entirely. So if you’re a gamer sleeves cards might be interested in getting a customised organizer.

Looks good
So I've bought this for my 14yr old nephew who loves board games. I've opened it & took photos to share to you all. What I understand is you all have a baddie & you must master all their powers & once you've done that you do that to all the other players & the winner is the person who has mastered every baddies powers and become the ultimate villain. The parts are plastic but of a good grade. Each character has its own board. The instruction manual is lengthy but easy to follow. I hope that this will help others.

good game. but lacks balance and complexity
good game. good quality materials (but not as good as disney villainous). the character movers lack in terms of design.while its possible to play with 2 players, its not very interesting. recommended for 3+ players.needs expansion packs like the disney game!a little bit too expensive in my opinion, but worth the money.the characters are a little boring compared to the disney version, and half of them have a very straight forward objective so it lacks complexity and interest.overall though good game - recommended

Even better than Disney Vilianous
We've only played four of the five characters and haven't played with the events (which I guess will make the game a bit more complicated but add some depth) but at this point the game seems more balanced than the original Disney version. All players involved throughout, lots of fun and looking forward to adding in the events.

Mar-Villainous!
Great game. Seems complex at first, but the cards keep you right. After a play through you’ll be fine. Got ours on a deal, but still well worth full price. A good introduction to the Villainous system, but different enough to maintain interest if you’ve enjoyed other Villainous games.

The weakest of the Villainous games but still a decent time
Having played Disney Villainous, Star Wars Villainous and now Marvel Villainous I think I can safely say that this is my least favourite which is disappointing since out of those properties, Marvel is the one I enjoy the most. While this game largely functions the same as the other two, it makes a few gameplay changes such as removing condition cards in exchange for speciality cards (a change I do not like but is not terrible), introducing event cards (an addition I actually think is probably the most interesting thing that this game brings to the table) and combining the different fate decks into one big pile and only revealing one when doing a fate action (instead of two). This last change is easily my least favourite aspect of the game as it makes it so much more difficult to effectively target the frontrunner and is the reason I find myself coming back to this game much less than the other two. Other than that, this comes with 5 villains (down from Disney's 6) and of which I think that two- Thanos and Hela- are some of the most fun and interesting villains in the series mechanically whereas the other 3 are just okay. The box is genuinely beautiful; possibly my favourite board game box that I own and the component quality and art is at the same high standard as the other versions. Overall, while I think there are some negative rule changes here and somewhat less content that other versions this game is still a good time and if you are a massive Marvel fan you will certainly enjoy this package. However, if you are more interested in gameplay than themes I would point you towards Disney Villainous alternatively (or perhaps Star Wars Villainous) as it is just a better game with more content.

Fun, engaging and re-playable
Whilst searching for a game suitable for two players I was directed to this. It is such a great, engaging board game and my partner and I enjoy playing it every time. The re-playability is fantastic. My only grumble is that sometimes the wording of certain rules can be misleading and you have to dig around on forums to discover the “answer”. Don’t let that put you off. It is a really fun game to play with hours of discovery. After several weeks I still haven’t played all the characters.
