Great set of gagues with 134a and 1234
Amazing for the price and also built well. We use these almost every day . We are in the summer months and always have multiple vehicles to check out. There accurate and even came with thread tape for the fittings. A steal for the price.

Better than Harbor Freight/Pittsburgh Gauges
I got fed up with leaks with my HF gauge set, and got this set as a replacement. Used it for the first time today, and am loving it. No leaks, and lots of little conveniences like build in fitting tighteners, teflon tape, fittings for all situations, etc. Less 'cheap' feeling at every turn. Very happy with these gauges!

Couplers didn't fit
I was actually really excited to get this Lichamp guage set. I looked at a lot of different brands, and even retail stores like Harbor Freight (their Pittsburgh AC Guage set was $59.99 retail, and comes with a lifetime warranty). For the price, this kit exceeded my expectations for build quality, accessories with the guage set, and just the overall package, case, price, etc. The guages themselves are of solid, quality construction, all the fittings are made with high-quality parts. My ONLY problem, I would've given this product a solid 5 stars across the board, I was very impressed, but when I went to charge a newer car's a/c refrigerant, the R1234yf coupler adapters didn't fit! All the other accessory parts all worked flawlessly, I had an incredibly easy time recharging my old 2002 Honda Civic, with the older R-134a refrigerant. This was a major factor when I was looking to purchase this set of guages. Obviously, I need the adaptability to work on older R-134a systems, but also newer R-1234yf systems. And yes, I'm very aware that you can buy accessory kits here on Amazon, to get couplers & adapters for newer R-1234yf. Specifically, the High-side R-1234yf coupler adapter would not lock on, and set into the High-Side coupler. Obviously, this is a crucial dealbreaker, because this is the only way to setup the guages to read the pressure on a R-1234yf system. It just seemed extremely odd, because the guage set is really well-made. High-quality parts & fittings. Everything else fit together exactly as it was intended. Even the low-side coupler had trouble connecting to the low-side r-1234yf coupler adapter fitting, but I was able to get it to work. I don't know if I just got a coupler that was the wrong size, or if this is a problem with all the sets Lichamp makes. However, I imagine with this being such a crucial part to diagnosing AC systems, that someone would've noticed & fixed this mistake. Still giving the Lichamp guage set 4 stars, it really is that good of a product. I could see myself still using this same set 10-20+ yrs in the future. It has that good of a build quality. I just really hope that the seller, or Lichamp can fix my personal issue, and send me replacement coupler adapters, or new couplers that will fit the adapters from my original purchase. Either way, I would really appreciate it, and would mos definitely update my review to a solid 5 stars if I can get all the different parts to work together. Would still buy this kit, but make positively sure that all your adapters & fittings connect to each other, and also connect snugly with older R-134a systems, and newer R-1234yf systems. Don't wait 3-6 months after buying to figure out that your adapters don't fit, and now you can't get replacements for them.

Works with multiple AC systems!
This gauge works as it should do, the material is sturdy and I didn’t have any issue using it. It saved me a bunch of money fixing the AC of my SUV that just got out of warranty. It can be used for both AC systems R-134a and R-1234yf. Definitely a good inversion.

You're supposed to diagnose your car, not your tool!!!
On 5/14/24 I decided to retire my old R-134a gauge set and bought was seemed to be a pretty comprehensive unit.First thing that sucks is that the yellow line doesn't have a check valve.Six AC services later, the service valves started leaking. Then, during the diagnosis of a vehicle with an intermittently failing compressor, the low side valve decides to restrict flow leading to a restriction in the system being suspected. On a hunch, Ol' Reliable was called in off then bench for the win.You don't need the headache that this tool is guaranteed to deliver.I may revise this rating if the issue is resolved under warranty.Good luck.

Ok for personal use, but threaded hose fittings do not stay tight
Regarding the Lichamp AC R1234YF R134A Gauge Set,The Bad: The background in the sight glass is black, so it is more challenging to see liquid flowing by. The can adapter is a cam style that locks to the outer rim of the can which proved to be inferior to the thread-on styles as the adapter may be slightly unaligned and leaked on my 1st can. 3 more cans sealed fine though. The kit comes with several extra rubber seals for the threaded hose fittings and for good reason... the fittings have to be super tight or else they loosen easily. Therefore, the seal is working extra hard and will eventually fail. The Good: The hose material, gauges, refrigerant type adapters, and case are descent quality. The 90-degree fittings are great for tight spaces, just enure to turn it CCW to close and CW to open as the label on the valve states (other manufacurers are doing this too). The fitting fit the R134A vehicle fittings really well with no leaks.
