We were ttc for over a year, I started taking this supplement in October and I had a positive pregnancy test on Christmas. Unfortunately, I miscarried. My progesterone levels were never sufficient enough in the past.. I'm curious if this is safe to take during pregnancy? I truly believe this supplement helped my hormones regulate & helped me along.

I started taking the original supplement because I have PCOS, Cushing’s disease, and endometriosis, so my cycle has been extremely irregular since I started puberty, I would have a cycle for 1 or 2 months in a row, and then it would be 6 months or longer before my next.After developing long covid I didn’t have a cycle for over a year, 396 days to be exact, and I had a cycle on month 2 of this supplement, and have had cycles roughly every 35 days since, and as I stated before, I have always had 2-4 cycles in a YEAR.I had been taking the original version of this supplement for around 3 months before I switched to this one, and haven’t noticed any difference in effectiveness.I switched to this formula since I have issues with vitamin D uptake, and I figured why not take the version that will give me a bit more to help with that.

Even if you don't have PCOS, there is no harm in taking these to bolster your fertility and general women's well-being. I found it really prepped my body before we got good news, and that was after trying for a year+.

I gave this five stars even though it's not the perfect fit for me. I have pcos. I also have a history of ovarian cyst. Ovarian cyst that grow to be quite big. 8 years ago I had a partial hysterectomy due to ovarian cyst and I chose to keep one of the better ovaries for hormones and bone health. My ovarian cyst 8 years ago was 10cm in size. Which is like a crystal ball or grapefruit to give you a perspective. This year 2021 my current and only ovary is 8cm in size due to another ovarian cyst. It's very painful and causes a lot of disruption in my everyday living. I purchased this bottle in hopes it would shrink or dissolve it... I was pretty desperate because the surgery for the partial hysterectomy 8 years ago was botched and I ended up in ICU for a week and In recovery for 6 months to a year--one of the worst experiences of my life. I vowed I'd never have surgery again. Which is what led me to purchase this supplement, due to recently finding out I'd need surgery again. ** So now here's my experience with these. For one they helped with the pain, not a fan of pain meds so this is a plus for me. They do help with regularity, another plus. ** Now here's the unpleasant experience, they made me really really tired...Like pregnant fatigue. Second, they would occasionally give me heart palpitations. Messing with your hormones can do a lot to your body, like depression and heart palpitations to name a few. Third, they made me ache and also increased acne. Ppl with pcos tend to be prone to inflammation among other things. I take them occasionally to help with pain till I go through surgery but I try to minimize it due to the other side affects I listed.

Update: I have come back 3 years later to buy this as my husband and I starting to try for another baby soon, and since I had such a great experience the first time, I figured this would be the case the second time around. Not sure if they changed the formula or if it’s a me issue, but I’ve only taken like 8 of these pills and I have broken out in acne on my chin in a HORRIBLE way. Taking these has been literally the only thing I’ve changed. Won’t be taking them anymore unfortunately :/Update: got my BFP :) not sure if this stuff has anything to do with it, but I found out I was pregnant about 3 weeks after writing this review. Currently 23 weeks. I think this helped a ton!So disclaimer... I've never been diagnosed with PCOS, but I have an inkling that it's what I suffer from (ovarian cysts, irregular/missed periods, heavy and painful periods when they do come, constant bloating, insatiable cravings, trouble sleeping, mood problems, etc.). Ever since getting off of BC, my periods have been hellish. I started doing some research on how to help all of these issues and stumbled upon this. I've only been taking them for about 3 weeks now, and I can certainly notice a difference. I was going on two months without a period, and within a week of starting these supplements, my period came back! I didn't have the insane 4-5 days of spotting that I normally get before the 5-6 days of heavy bleeding. My period, although still painful for a couple of days, seemed to last shorter with not as much spotting at the beginning or end. I've noticed my lower abdomen is not as bloated, and I've even lost about 5 lbs. I'm not craving as many sweets like I used to. My sleep is still meh, but that part may take longer to regulate. I chose this one with the folate because of a gene expression I have where my body doesn't produce enough. Folate helps with the production of serotonin which can be helpful in conjunction with antidepressants. I used to take prescription folate but it was super expensive. Glad to have found this! In addition, I'm hoping it will regulate my hormones enough so that my husband and I can get our BFP. All in all, I would totally recommend this and I will continue with this product via subscription!Only downside is that it's 4 pills per day, and they're a bit dry. But that's ok with the results I've been getting!
