Lovely, but....
The plates are really lovely, pristine white with a simple, clean design which I love.The only reservation that is I have is that they get super hot in the microwave. It becomes almost impossible to touch them - the only way you can remove the plate from the microwave is by gingerly holding them from the sides (from the rim of the plates). I think it gets this hot because they are very thin. However, I must clarify that though thin, they are quite strong - they've been knocked around a couple of times, but no cracks have appeared on the surface.So, even though I like them very much, I cannot recommend these plates if (like me) you heat up your food regularly in the microwave. If you don't, then the plates are fine to buy and use on a daily basis!
