Greenwood Nursery / Ground Cover Plants (Large Selection Inside) - Vinca Major/Big Leaf Periwinkle Evergreen - [Qty: 50 Bare Root Plants]

Plants were healthy and are doing well. The packaging was great and they traveled better than one would expect.But the plants are growing straight up rather than across the ground. We bought them to fill and cover in the shade where the grass had died. And they just aren't growing as we had expected. After nearly two months in the ground they look more like tall little bushes then ground cover.

I've been planting these for the last few years and at first, I had the same results as everyone else - small sprouts that didn't do much. Some looked like they died. But I let them go. The plants that are 2 or 3 years old are spreading all over my hill. The ones I planted a year or so ago are turning into bushes. It just takes time for them to sprout and spread.

Followed the instructions, watered as needed. All of the Vinca ended up dying off.

Good packing and shipping though shorter than the ones I've ordered before. Some have died since planting. Last orders had much longer plants. Too soon to see if they shape up. A little expensive.
