Mattel Harry Potter Collectible Toy, Luna Lovegood Doll & Accessories, Signature Look with Quibbler & Spectrespecs

I LOVE IT. I grew up with Harry Potter and Luna has always been my favorite ever. I got it at 39$ because even though some reviews r like wait for the price to drop but in my experience it'll only increase as the time goes by cuz its a collectible. Not to my surprise the day I got it at 30 something and price actually went up 10 bucks. That's enough about the price talk lol. But just so yunno if u really have a connection with Luna, get it when its not priced at 70$ yet. Resellers will always jack up the price. But this is not as common as Harry so I understand. Now about the doll, at first I was at the fence cuz I actually don't really like barbies, I don't like the touch of barbies cuz they r very stiff and the hair is always frizzy and looks like children's toy. But this doll isn't typically Mattel quality its better. More joints move than I imagined, she can do so much. She can be all cute and girly and also attack any baddies with her wand, which to my shorts, can be positioned perfectly like a real witch would. Lots of barbies accessories, u can hold it but not in a way you'd do irl cuz of the stiff body of the doll. For examples lots of my Chelsea dolls can HOLD the milk bottle but never really able to mimic the action of actually drinking it. Its like they r always just holding the milk for whatever reasons. ALSO one big thing is that again to my surprise luna hair is thicker and softer than barbies, really long too and it's soooooo beautiful. Thank god the designer actually took the time to notice how luna really is and not just put some luna clothes and accessories on a barbie doll and say it's a luna doll. That is what makes this doll a rare collectible. Idk if its just me or its how well the doll is made I can actually FEEL lunas soul and thoughts through this doll. Maybe cuz how soft n real it is. How every little details screams luna lovegood. She was bullied a lot and has a rather difficult childhood that made her so unique cuz she has been through a lot and has definitely developed a much more interesting and magical personality than others. I'd play with the other characters to act out scenes and stuff but I'd only have this kinda connection with luna. Also I feel like her glasses represents seeing the world in different perspectives, so so glad Mattel added that cuz even the they r just a pair of glasses it represents so much more to me, as I'm writing this im almost in tears lol. I'm so silly but I've read the books n the movies not just someone who's watched the movies and knows there is a girl named luna, I actually get all her thoughts, the painful ones too, and the magical ones. And I'm so grateful the designers made it real. If I got it and found out they butchered my fav character I'd be so furious. Thank god they made it as magical and soft and brave as the real luna lovegood, her appearance (the doll itself, softness, postures, clothes, hair, everything) matches her real personality and how she really is. All the barbies dolls r kinda boring to me cuz they have been looking similar since forever n even tho there r cartoons based on them its still just a regular character. But luna is so much more. Hundreds of detailed words have been written to portrait her, so ofc shed mean a lot more to me and some other people than a generic barbie. I still can't believe I can actually EASILY move her hands n stuff to do wut a real witch can do and I get to style her hair too I'm so excited! With regular barbies I can't even get them to naturally drink a freaking cup of milk without bending their hands n dripping the milk 3 or 4 times which just makes them less realistic. The new Sanrio line is pretty great too cuz i connect emotionally with Sanrio character as well (not as much as luna but more than barbie) nd the designers also put thoughts into showing their personalities with the dolls. I just can't believe I'm holding something JK Rowling made up IN HER MIND. how crazy (in a good way) is that. Ik if ur reading this u probably think I'm some kind of nerd who's into fictional things (no offense if thats u, its super cool 2) but I'm actually just a regular sweet girl with lots of imaginations. I've been bullied and I had a really tough childhood and I enjoy the literature and all things dreamy, sometimes to escape, but also to make peace with how the world is, just use yr own imaginations to tweak things into wut u believe in, its way more fun to imagine, ofc as long as u don't hurt anyone and if it comforts u. Finally something less serious lol, I feel a teeeeny weird that luna looks v grown up cuz in the books nd films she has always been a teen BUT this means she gets to wear all my babies clothes aaaaaaaa. Can u imagine luna wearing modern day cute clothes? (I have quite a section and Sanrio clothes, things I'd usually wear and I think she'd enjoy 2) I couldn't either until just now I opened her up cuz I don't get to imagine hehe. I got barbie clothes just to wait for one day ill find a doll i really really love dearly and shed get to wear all of them. Oh also I'm so grateful they made lunas outfit SUper different than all the other girls in the HP line. She's wearing wut she likes n not just school uniform, that juisty the price leap for me really. Maybe cuz other ppl wore uniforms mostly and didn't really have their signature style? Or r they favoring luna hehe. Anyways I'm so happy they made her clothes colorful. Love her hair, love her everything, can't wait 2 put her into Sanrio clothes.

My daughter and son just loves these harry potter dolls. I wish hope they create more of the characters soon and i hope they will create clothing and accessory packs for them. They are a tiny bit hard to find outfits for, our family are huge harry potter fans though and all the dolls have made a great addition to our collection so far.

She's perfectly poseable and such a great face! The more I looked at her face the more she reminded me of "Samantha Stevens aka Elizabeth Montgomery" so a body switch and some hair adjustment perfect! I had an extra Skipper body that was poseable and my own poseable Samantha! Now I just need to find a Darrin and add some more family; Aunt Clara, Gladys Cravitz, Endora!

My 8 year old daughter loves this doll! She’s a Luna fan and this doll is very well done. Her face is cute and looks like the actress. I didn’t realize that under her jacket she has on a dress which is fun to change up her look and my daughter’s favorite part is always changing clothes so she loves that. She comes with her glasses of course, a wand and also a tiny Quibbler. Her jacket looks great and has the tiny buttons even though it’s really Velcro. While wearing the jacket it looks like she has on a skirt, which is the dress, and leggings underneath. This is a great doll for any Luna fans!

Great item for any girl boy or collector.

I love her , only thing where box was smashed and that bent her glasses but thank God the arm straightened back out to somewhat normal to fit her head and face . I'm keeping her and she is a joint doll but cant stand on her own , the stand I already had so it was not included, her clothes are very nice and just like the real Luna Lovegoods clothing. I highly recommend getting for any Potter fan and Luna fan she is very adorable and a great price for a new potter doll this nice looking and popular. I'm am happy with my luna.

This doll is just adorable, her face print is perfect and not pixelated. Her hair is very straw like/not the most withstanding material but it will do. She has lots of it! Her jacket is a Velcro closure, underneath is a strapless dress with Velcro closure to the back. Her outfit is adorable and fits well!

She has very tiny chest and huge feet. Barbie, Skipper and even Creatable Worlds clothing is too big for her.

Ma bardzo ładną, delikatną twarz, ubranie składające się z oddzielnego płaszcza, sukienki i legginsów oraz butów, a także akcesoria (Quibbler, okulary i różdżka). Jest niższa i drobniejsza od standardowej Barbie, a także ma inne stopy. Niestety, jej włosy są bardzo złej jakości: suche i sztywne, nie nadają się zbytnio do zabawy, bo przy najmniejszej próbie zmiany fryzury zaczynają się puszyć.
