These are excellent socks Just because you carry the gold toe name, however my husband is very finicky about how they feel in his feet so these are the ones that are too snug around his arches and so on. We found the correct socks the sport version but for anybody else I'm sure these would be awesome and they had two free pairs in it so what about you!

Gold Toe has a tough, long lasting sock. My 20 yr old is tough on everything.

Great fit/ good quality for the cost

I've been wearing these Gold Toe socks for years. They have comfortable padding in the sole portion of the sock, and feel good in the top portion as well. I haven't had a pair wear out yet, and I'm pretty hard on them - I wear them with sneakers, for working in the yard, in boots for riding my motorcycle, and in boots for doing all sorts of work in all sorts of places. Thet are just comfortable, they fit right, and they don't wear out. The only reason I'm buying more is that I've lost too many to the Dryer Gods taking their share, so I keep losing half of many pairs in a number of the laundry cycles!

These socks are horrible. They continue to shed black fuzz all over my feet as verified after taking the socks off. The socks have been put through numerous wash cycles right side in and inside out without any change! I thought these may shed less than the Gold Toe 656 and actually feel better but I was wrong. I will continue to search

I had to order a larger size for them to fit

Socks are great and durable, due to them being part synthetic they breathe and wick moisture better than the 100% cotton gold toes which I wear all day in my casual shoes, I use these socks for boot sports like skiing and inline skating to avoid blisters. These are also not as warm as the thick 100% cotton gold toes, synthetic socks are meant for when your feet are going to be sweating a lot to avoid blisters.

No complaints. Wasn't the super thin nor the super fuzzy style, so hubby likes them.
