I wasn't expecting much for the price (I'm always willing to go the cheap route once), but this is actually a decent kit! Everything fit pretty well, and the stainless accelerator pump seems like a better solution than another plastic pump. The only issue was that the secondary venturi gaskets seem slightly oversized as far as the outer dimension, but that's easy enough to fix with an Xacto knife. It wasn't enough of an issue for me so I just tightened them down as-is and they worked fine. Got my C-10 back on the road and running great, with no gasket leaks to speak of. In case anyone is wondering, my original issue was that the accelerator pump didn't seem to be working on my 1411 (750cfm), but I figured I'd just go through the whole carb since it was already on the truck when I got it. I'm glad I did, because it's working even better than before!

Purchased to rebuild a Carter afb 750: As stated in other reviews, the booster gaskets are a bit off and required some trimming to get them to fit properly. The bowl gasket is thinner than the OEM one but still did the job. My kit came with both old and new style float valves and they were the correct thread for my 750. As stated earlier there are no float valve screens, I cleaned and reused my originals. Kit comes with a check ball and check weight as opposed to the pointed check weight. Either will work. Accelerator pump was the correct size for my 750. No step down rods or floats in this kit, again I reused my originals. Decent kit if you don’t mind trimming some gaskets.

This kit is as good or, maybe better since the accelerator plunger shaft is stainless steel instead of plastic, than the Edelbrock branded kits that cost 4 times as much. I' rebuilt my carb with the edelbrock kit a couple years ago and then it sat and got nasty and I hadd to take it apart and clean it and replace the gaskets and the accelerator pump. So I bought this kit this timecuz I was tired of spending $50 for the Edelbrock kit and it has worked out well. Needless to say, with these "for Edelbrock kits" available, I'll never purchase the overpriced Edelbrock kits again.

If you know what you’re doing already and how to rebuild carburetors this is a good kit if you just want to refresh it. If you don’t just buy an OM kit and read the instructions down to the finest detail. When rebuilding using this kit, I use those instructions and it works fine, don’t use any of the jets or the accelerator pump

I needed the top cover gasket only - it worked just fine and was a LOT less expensive then an entire Edelbrock set

Venturi gaskets fit like crap with too much material on the inside edges of the screw holes causing the gasket to bind and bend . Just more poorly made in China junk that could easily be remedied but then again , it is deliberate anyway . Luckily I had a few from years ago when products were made with pride ..so they fit correctly
