Significantly thicker than the 8-ply version. Don't settle for less than this 12-ply version. I've had a large burn wound on my thigh for about 3 months. Early on, my burn would honestly took a 4x4 gauze to cover it completely. I've learned so much in the last few months about treating a large 1st degree burn. There was a period when a non-adherent gauze was best, so that it would not rip open at every bandage change twice per day. But 100% cotton can actually kill bacteria and other germs on contact. Plus, this 100% cotton gauze allows a little air to get underneath for my later stage of healing.

Box arrived open and wasn’t individual wrapped as described. I returned item and repurchased 3 more and they all was the same. Not individual wrapped just loosed in the box.

Great quality at price

It is convenience to have two in a pack. I did not realize how many times I would have opened a second package (or should have opened a second package). they work great and easy to open.

I need these daily for medical reasons, so it's a pretty good price for individually wrapped sterile gauze pads.

I just had major surgery four weeks ago and have been using these to change my dressing each day. I love the woven, waffle texture, makes it seem like the area gets more air compared to the tightly packed gauze you get from the drug store. Plus, they've been holding up nicely too! Highly recommend.
