Q: I see two conflicting statements: keep food cold/hot for 1.5 hours OR keep food cold for 6-8 hours. How long will this keep food cold?

This is how I interpreted the ad - there are two temp-graphics: 1.5 hours for hot and cold foods, combined. The other is a break down (which is longer time frames) if you just use this for hot-holding ***or*** for cold holding. Does that help? To be honest with you, in food service, we would never keep both cold and hot foods in one carrying case. When I travelled 90 minutes out, it was only for hot-holding during transit. I kept a separate cooler for cold items. I have to maintain appropriate packing principles and ServSafe guidelines when transporting foods.
