Frenemy [DVD]

Perfect. Exactly as described.

With well-known actors, you would think they could put on a much better movie. I don't typically give one star reviews but this one tops the cake. The movie just didn't make any sense at all.

The movie Frenemy itself is rather lame, however, the soundtrack is great due to the presence of about a half a dozen songs by the band The Silent Years. I personally know the members of this band quite well and have followed them from their promising begiinning through the end.

Never buy films sight unseen & took a chance on Callum Blue & found it VERY WELL worth the chance I took. My friend hated it. I LOVED it!... and Callum makes you love him & then CHILLS you to the BONE... TWO thumbs up AND five stars!... WOOT!

Definitely one of the 3 worst movies I’ve ever seen in my life. Just do yourself a favor and move on. It has zero redeeming qualities and the plot is in no way related to Amazon’s description.

First, it's not the writer's fault that the distributor, in this case Lionsgate, put Galfiniakis' face on the cover and marketed this as a comedy so get over it you self indulgent twits.Second, if you do as suggested in the first sentence you'll quite possibly experience a movie that does something most films fail to do anymore and THINK. This movie examines the interplay of good and evil, conscious and subconscious and the impact of your actions and how they affect other people.Third, if you're wearing you big boy pants and not whining about the name change or the cover, you'll discover a movie that actually requires to you stay until the end to figure it out. You won't guess the plot by the 10th minute or figure out the moral of the story within the first half hour. And you most certainly won't veg out and just get a few laughs along the way like a normal Galifinakis movie.Last but certainly not least, if you're going to be critical of a movie, for piss sake be critical of the plot, writing, story, acting, cinematography or some other aspect of the movie that actually has something to do with the movie itself. Don't whine about getting ripped off by the DVD cover. This movie was different and interesting and thought provoking. The acting was very good. Some of the editing was confusing and jumbled but so be it. This isn't a perfect movie and it's not for everyone, but it's very well written, well acted and directed. In today's film world, that should count for more than who's face the distributor put on the cover.

I bought this for my husband for his Christmas stocking and he absolutely loves this movie. He watched it almost every night for like a month and still watches it all the time. I really don't get it.......

DO not buy this movie because you like Zach Galifianakis or his type of humor. This is more very dark humor, people getting killed, gruesome dead bodies, and violence. This movie is about two friends that just go around talking to each other while one of them spouts out his theories on life and death. It did have some funny moments, but they were few and far between and again, not "happy" comedy. The only parts I thought were funny were the parts involving the "Dennis" show. In the movie, there's parts involving a "Montel Williams" type show but it's called "Dennis Rivers." The subject is kids that kill their parents and there's one quiet ashamed kid as a guest who killed his parents. One of the women in the audience gets up and says "killing your parents is just wrong kid!"So there are very small bits of humor such as that but they are few and far between. In another scene, the two friends are on separate beds and the camera scrolls down to the floor between the beds, as they go on their ramblings about life... and there sets the body of a dead women they act obvlivious to.It takes a certain type of behavior to enjoy type of movie... it's not for me. I did think it was "ok." As such, you must refer to the appropriate reviews THAT KNEW WHAT THEY WERE GETTING INTO AND ENJOY DARK, DARK HUMOR.
