Utterly Astounding album!
VesselThe packaging was great and the CD was completely undamaged! Also, I don't know about other versions, but my CD came with 4 bonus tracks off of twenty one pilots' first album (which isn't sold anymore!) Regional At Best. Those tracks are Lovely, Kitchen Sink, Forest, and Glowing Eyes.Aside from the purchase:This album is life-changing.Tyler and Josh have seriously gotten right what music is supposed to be.If you're looking for something that is very outside of the typical "over-played on the radio, all about women and alcohol and suggestive material, same catchy beat and pointless lyrics" then this is an album that is absolutely worth your money. The lyrics have so much meaning and the music is unique and captivating. It's not really anything that can be described very well with words, but once you hear their music you'll understand. If you like pop, rock, electronic, dub-step, alternative, even some rap, (really just slam poetry, Tyler's an accidental rapper) you will like Vessel. As they once said in an interview, "Our music is like a smoothie... it tastes like everything that music tastes like, except for whatever a country smoothie tastes and sounds like. Yeah, its not country. *laughs* "(also, in case you're wondering about the old men on the album cover: its the two (and only) band member's grandfathers on their dad's side. The man on the right is Tyler's grandfather and the man on the left is Josh's.)Very happy with this purchase, it was well worth it!Power to the Local Dreamer|-/

My New Favorite Band
Twenty one pilots is one of those up-and-coming bands that I didn't really give a chance until one of my friends sat me down an made me listen to this album. Their sounds is unique, which is more than I can say for most music these days and I needed to get this album after hearing it. The mix of new age energy with rap is a combo that is unforgettable and one that I would listen to over and over. Not to mention their lyrics have really helped me get through some sough times in my life and are so much more than just a string of words. This is definitely a CD I will keep in my car and one that will make me smile when the traffic starts to get on my nerves. i have already introduced a couple of my friends to the sound of twenty one pilots and, so far, there has been a 100% success rate with them liking it! I would definitely recommend the purchase of this album as well as the others available for purchase. As a side note: If you ever get the chance to see them live, do it! They are not only talented musicians, but also put on an unforgettable and interactive performance that is well worth the price of their tickets!

I can't handle how amazing these guys are!
I saw twenty | one | pilots when they were one of the opening acts for a Neon Trees concert I went to last year. They were like nothing I'd ever seen. Honestly, I didn't really know what to think of them at first but afterwards my friend and I got pictures with them and they are such funny/down-to-earth guys. If you ever get a chance to see them live, DON'T MISS IT!I had forgotten about them but then decided to look them up randomly and listened to their album stream on YouTube. I INSTANTLY fell in love with "Guns for Hands" and couldn't get it out of my head. I'm the kind of girl who likes having a physical CD to play in my car, so I ordered the audio CD. It came in the mail and I listened to it right away. All the songs are SO amazing and SO unique. "Ode to Sleep" is almost like 3 songs in 1! And Tyler's vocal prowess (specifically his rapping) is incomparable. I didn't think I'd be a fan of rap, but t|o|p actually has CONTENT in their songs and I can't get enough! I love rolling the windows down and just blasting this CD!I agree with the other reviewer about anyone who's hesitating about this purchase. Do yourself a huge favor and buy it. You won't be disappointed. I have a ton of CDs and I can honestly say, if I absolutely had to make a list, this would be in the top 5 for SURE! :)

Such a unique and original sound.
Blurryface is the album that made these guys famous and recognizable. And rightly so. It's a solid album. But Vessel is easily my favorite. I think it's a stronger album than Blurryface. The first song I heard from Twenty One Pilots was "Holding On To You". It was on my nephew's Spotify playlist at work one day. Ever since then I've absolutely adored this album. Picking this up on vinyl for $17 is a no-brainer. The vinyl itself is clear and high quality. It doesn't crackle or skip. It sounds great. The highs are sharp. The lows are meaty and heavy. And the mids are crystal clear. The music itself on this album is a work of art. Every song is crafted in a unique and entertaining way. A must have for TOP fans and a worthy addition to any vinyl collection.

From "Ode to Sleep" up until "Truce" this album is a wake up call and a hell of a trip
I found out about this band when "Holding on to you" played on MTV . I searched the internet and found out everything about them and boy are they unique! All the songs on this Lp differ from one another and the singing styles of Tyler Joseph on the tracks are just memorable .Josh Dunn's drumming stand out throughout all the different tracks and it gives the songs spice. The band has an attitude. They speak out what they believe . There's a small identity crisis going on in a few songs that just throw you off from the rest of the album because they're just so different . BY NO MEANS DO I SAY THAT IN A BAD WAY. They are great songs with great meaning and in the end of it you can see why they blend in so much with the album. There is not one track that I did not love on this album and it's not very often that something like this happens. With such a vast array of tunes and styles on "Vessel" I just can't wait to see what Twenty | One | Pilots have in store for us next.
