Very charming little duckie atop a ruffly base play the tune Rubber Duckie, hand made at the turn of the 21st century by ceramic artist Amy Lacombe, well known for her WhimsiClay Designs with their trademarked whiskers. This would make a delightful gift for a new baby or anybody who loves ducks... And who doesn't? In today's world of Target and Walmart in Chinese imports, it's a breath of fresh air to find something truly handmade by local artisan who made it with love and thoughtfulness for those who would enjoy it. May that be you or your gift recipient :-) I have gone into the archives and decided to let go of some of my vintage originals from days gone by. Each is unique, adorable, and signed and dated by me, Amy Lacombe. I am grateful that I eventually became very well known for my be-whiskered cats, that became ever so popular but I am also fond of the many other designs I created. It's a little difficult to let go of some of these precious originals, but as one gets older one realizes it is just Good to simplify one's life. So hopefully my loss will be your gain as you snap up one of these one-of-a-kind items from last century (LOL)
