SEAFLO Manual to Electric Marine Toilet Conversion Kit (12V)

Installed on 1992 Maxum 2300SCR. Replaced manual pump assembly. Both water and exhaust hoses fit right in . Only had to wire 12v directly from battery. So far works ok . Great price 👍💪Unit got stuck with regular toilet paper. I switched to RV/Marine toilet paper , so far works ok no more overflowing . 🙏

As advertised it was easy to install. I was warned by someone else who had one not to buy it but for the price I thought it was worth the gamble. It was loud but we didn't mind. First problem was that at times it would fill up while not in use and overflow. Woke up one night with the bilge alarm going off. Learned to be careful each time after flushing to make sure it wasn't filling the bowl on it's own. Decided it was a bad design but would put up with it until it failed. Didn't take long. This morning (6 weeks) it wouldn't flush. After disassembly I found the impeller broken off. I guess there is a good reason they include in the instructions to keep the old manual unit. I'm out of the country so it is not cost effective to seek a warranty due to shipping cost. I would never reinstall one even if it were free.

Perfect fit for Jabsco replacement. It is noisy. But gets the job done just fine.

Works great, easy installation.Noise is higher than the Jabsco base macerator.

No more manual flushing! Easy to install, fits perfect in the tight space and a welcome upgrade to our boat! :)

Lower macerator shaft broke, had it a year with just i intermittent use…also super loud, but worked until now..

I was not expecting much from this conversion kit but was convinced to give a try and I did. The installation was very straightforward and all the necessary parts are included. The installation manual is easy to read.Works ok, sometimes it would fulfil the basin to the top even on "discharge" function which cause to overflow at least 2 times. There is a learning curve to this type of conversion kit.Now, the bad part... we were far away from any land when we heard a different noise coming from it and the water was not flowing anymore. After cleaning all the mess we were able to check that the metal bolt that comes from the pump was broken. A material failure and we were without the toilet to use.We got in contact with Valueinmotion and they were very correct and fast to give us a solution (reimbursement under warranty).Final words: we loved to have a electrical toilet, maybe this one had some manufacture problem, we will give a try again to see what happens.Update in 13/05/2023 all working well with the new one, so far no issues to report. Increased to 3 stars.

Seems like an exact clone of the much more expensive Jabsco it replaced. Weighs about the same, operates the same, sounds the same, works the same, but costs way less. Have had it installed now about a month and am perfectly happy with it.
