a must read if you want to know how Christ and Our Lady suffered. It opens up a love story for us to view, including the hearts and desires of the apostles, and Judas' heart at the time of betrayal (and the demons spurring him on). It shows the human suffering of Our Lord, and how satan had the audacity to accuse God of the crimes he incited in others!

This book was recommended to me by a friend following my trip to the Holy Land. I would suggest it would of particular interest to any Pilgrim who has visited or intends visiting the Holy Land who wants to read a very detailed, moving account of Jesus's Passion written from the perspective of an 18th/19th Century, German, Augustinian nun visionary - Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich (who lived from 1774-1824) - seeing it through her eyes.

This is an excellent book, well written and wonderful for contemplating on the immense suffering of passion of Jesus Christ.
