Excellent value otoscope…but so much more
This otoscope will save me from replacing my son’s headphones. The self-stabilizing view of his ear canal—especially on the larger screen of an iPad—makes it easy to (gently) remove excess earwax. It also did double duty; I swapped the spatula too with a clean one, and my daughter was able to use it to visualize and remove a popcorn kernel skin that was stuck under her orthodontic spacer. It also makes it easy to visualize the eardrum, to see if there’s fluid build-up behind it (a sign of an ear infection). The price was an added bonus. The companion app is pretty bare-bones—and was likely translated to English by a non-native speaker—but it doesn’t need to be fancy. It does the job perfectly well.I’ve recommended it to my friends with kids. Also, it’s super handy as a macro-photo borescope, to inspect the internal pins of a cable jack, and I’ve even used it to peek behind my A/V receiver to identify a port without taking the whole thing out of the cabinet.

This is a pretty cool product!
The media could not be loaded. I first saw this product on Tiktok which prompted me to buy it. I have naturally waxy ears and I know that q-tips are bad for your ears. It does not take long to charge and the battery lasts quite a while. The instructions are clear and the app is simple. The video quality is actually quite good and the light is very bright. You have a very clear view of your ear and it is easy to maneuver around and scoop the earwax. it also comes with several scoops. I cleaned quite a bit of earwax out and I could feel the difference. I highly recommend this product especially with it's decent price.

Better than the last one I tried
I had a wired otoscope with similar scoops and lighting before this one, but I had such trouble figuring out where in the world it was facing inside of my ear. Very frustrating. On top of that, the thing wouldn't hold a charge. That's when I decided to try out a wireless one. This Bebird one advertised having some sort of system to help in-ear navigation. It's a nice little thing and, indeed, it DOES make it easier to navigate in the ear. The wireless is nice (charge only with micro) and the picture quality almost seems double that of my previous one. It comes with only one scoop that has a rubbery scoop, the others are clear, hard plastic. The little metal collar that holds the attachments is very easy to lose, so you have to be careful. It's impossible to use attachments without it.My only issue is the app. As soon as I installed it, my phone slowed WAY down. Not only that, but for some reason location is REQUIRED to be allowed before being able to use it. Fearing some sort of malicious thing, I uninstalled it and everything was fine. So, what I do now is install for the short time I'm using it and then immediately uninstall. Shame, really, because the product itself is great.

Last resort saved me from going insane
So I had A LOT of wax in my ears and one day after using a q tip the wax got lodged in one ear to where it was blocking my hearing and I couldn’t get it out for days, I tried everything from ear drops to trying to flush it out with warm water, peroxide and one of those bulbs, tried sucking it out, everything.. it was driving me crazy hearing myself talk and hearing everything else muffled thru one ear. So I bought this. I wish I took a video of my initial clearing of wax but it would probably have been too graphic for most people anyways. It cleared my hearing and pulled a bunch of wax out. It’s pretty addicting not gonna lie but you really do need to be careful cause I can see how you can easily hurt yourself, but if used carefully it really helps as a last result if you are in a similar situation as I was. I would say though if you don’t NEED to use it like I did then you should definitely use other methods like flushing your ears with warm water and peroxide first.

Good camera quality
I guess I just have clean ears because I barely saw/removed any ear wax. The camera was clear and it was easy to connect via Bluetooth to your phone. I returned it.

Absolutely worth the $
I don't have any experience with any like-products, so I can't speak to whether this bebird brand one is better or worse than others. However, I don't know why I hesitated buying this. If you're looking, just get it.It is relatively easy to use if you have a steady hand, has a startling clear image (on my Galaxy s10) and works in my big German ears just as well as in my young daughter's dainty one's. After a couple minutes practice, I was able to scoop up some individual grains of sand that were causing irritation.

It works
My wife states that she has been yelling at me for years. The TV volume was turned up about halfway up, so I could hear it. Finally, I lost hearing in one of my ears. Using the Otoscope, I was able to see that both my ear canals were occluded, could not see my tympanic membrane. Over several days I was able to clean out most of the harden wax. I also needed some help from the Ear Blaster MD kit and earwax MD removal drops. Over time, I was able to clean out the wax and see my tympanic membrane. Now I can hear the TV at a lower level. I keep telling my wife she does not need to yell at me (she states it is hard to tone her voice down since she has been yelling at me for years). I will say this; I filled up three kleenexes with ear wax, some of them I could have named. I highly recommend the Otoscope so you can dig out the wax and the MD wax to loosen it if you need to (I did).

Still works
Still works unlike the other brand I bought. Easy to set up with app. But you can’t use the earwax scoop and see at same time it blocks the camera
