Try different positions to get the best signal.
It's very easy to set up and effective, just keep it within range of your router as will be intermittent if too far away. Also consider how many walls/etc it has to go through.

Good booster, tricky setup.
Works really well. You can only setup with the app mentioned in the setup instructions. The website to set it up doesn't work. WiFi now reaches the far end of my long narrow flat.

It doesn’t go up to 300mbps
It doesn’t arrive to the theoretical 300mbps as ensured, even putting it close to the main router. It achieves 150mbps on my test, even having 1gbps broadband (showing 800mbps when doing the test).

Game changer
REALLY GOOD!!! I can now get decent wifi speed in my studio and my new printer doesn't lose its wifi connection now it's plugged into the ethernet port.It's SO GOOD for the price. I bought 2 😁

Didn't work for me, so basically useless
I may have been unlucky, but this was an epic fail for me. First off, the product webpage given in the setup instructions came up as "Page not found", so I had to download (yet another) app to set the device up and set up an account on the Mercusys website. I followed the instructions to the letter but failed at the final hurdle when the device failed to connect. I'm reasonably tech-savvy, but started from scratch in case I'd made a mistake along the way. With the same result. So it's now back in its box for return to Amazon. Meanwhile I still have a wi-fi dead zone. * Sigh *

Perfect
The item was so easy to use, only takes a few seconds to connect. I’m using this to extend connection to my outside cabin that is being used as my office.
