This is a quality grow tent system. The tent fabric is thick and durable with heavy duty stitching and no light bleed. It has a heavy duty zipper that should last a long time. There are plenty of access ports for different venting schemes and routing power cables in/out of the tent. The frame is solid also. I had a missing frame part that was sent to me after several emails with Jenny/Spider Farmer customer service. This missing part didn't prevent me from setting up the tent and I have to compliment and thank Jenny on her continued communication throughout the process.All of the electronic components are working correctly and my plants are loving the SF2000 LED grow light. I recommend installing a fan to blow across the top side of the LED panel/driver to supercharge the passive cooling. This should help ensure the longevity of the panel/driver.The temperature humidity controller is a nice upgrade over the standard manual fan speed control. The fan can be triggered to run at 10 different speeds via high/low temperature and/or high/low humidity setpoints. It can be run in manual mode also. The fan moves the air effectively and isn't abnormally loud at maximum speed.I saw many pictures/videos of people mounting a fan controller on the outside of their tent by poking holes though the tent for the cabling and using screws to attach the controller to a piece of wood backing inside of the tent. I didn't relish the idea of poking holes in my brand new tent so I mounted the controller to the outside with heavy duty Velcro tape and ran the fan control and temperature humidity sensor cables over the top of the tent into the back center top port. This arrangement is neat and the temperature humidity sensor cable is long enough to reach the floor of the tent.I have had the tent for two months now and everything functions correctly and I expect this to last a long time. I highly recommend this Spider Farmer 4x2 SF-2000 grow tent system.

Strong, well built tent, the grow light is incredible, everything was so easy to put together, and the kit came with everything this rookie grower needed! Love this product!

These tents are great for novice growers like myself. It comes equipped with everything sans heat mats and grow trays. It was easy to assemble. I am a small female (5’0). It took a little wrangling, but all in all it was an easy process. A few things I would recommend if you are assembling this solo…watch the installation video. Hook up the carbon filter to the fan and then put both on the pole and hang it. The video shows putting the carbon filter on the pole, hanging it, and then hanging the fan. I struggled trying to get the fan tight enough to the pole to equal the horizontal height of the filter.Spider Farmer: I have a few suggestions.1. I am dumb American and use Fahrenheit, not Celsius for temperature readings. Simple enough to convert, I know, but… Your tent is awesome. Your accessories are not so awesome. The thermometer is cheap at best and cannot be converted to Fahrenheit.2. Your light timer also sucks. I bought a much better one for about $15. The price difference between cheap and actually functional would not have dissuaded me from purchasing your tent kit.3. If your kit offered an add-on shelving unit with different lights to accommodate the shelves, I would be totally enamored. As it were, I am stuck trying to find a two tiered shelving unit that will fit inside my 2X4 tent. I would like to maximize grow space for my little seedlings. They really don’t need much headroom.Hope this helps.I bought one 2X4 tent, and then I bought another one because they are just so fun.Happy growing!

Kit was packaged very nicely. As a first time user, the instructions were OK but I wish Spider Farm would have pdf versions available so I could blow up the tent assembly frame pictures. They include all models in the instructions so it gets quite confusing. OTOH the pole system was great-super easy to put together and strong.One more thing-missing in the instructions is that one or two extra bags of charcoal are inside the filter. Before use you have to unscrew the filter and remove those. Very nice they included this extra charcoal for future use but they should have let you know.One quibble on the tent-I wish it didn't have the lower windows and instead had at least one low vent. I could use a low vent (none provided) in my layout and the low windows are nothing but a light leak along the velcro seams.Everything turned on and works, but I haven't actually put it into use yet.

It's so many tents to choose from but the first time buying one, I made the right choice. This grow tent comes with everything you need to start growing. This is truly a five-star product. I would buy this product again!

I had high hopes for the Spider Farmer 4x4 Grow Tent Kit, but unfortunately, it fell far short of expectations. First, the tent material feels very cheap and flimsy. Upon unpacking, I noticed multiple tiny pinholes scattered across the fabric, which is unacceptable for a grow tent designed to block light and pests. These pinholes let in unwanted light leaks and could easily allow insects to enter, seriously compromising the growing environment.The ventilation system is another major disappointment. The fan is both noisy and underpowered, struggling to circulate air effectively inside the tent. This makes it difficult to maintain proper airflow and temperature control, which are critical for healthy plant growth.Lastly, the tent’s zippers feel flimsy and cheap, making setup and daily access frustrating. They don’t glide smoothly and feel like they might break after a few uses.Considering the price point, I expected a much higher quality product. Between the pinholes, weak ventilation, unreliable lighting, and poor construction, this kit has been more of a headache than a help. I cannot recommend this grow tent kit to anyone serious about indoor gardening.

This is a great cohesive kit for a first time grower. It served me well through my first harvest already!
