So, I get it. Normally when you get some mousse, you put it in wet hair. And this stuff insists on dry hair. What?It feels janky as heck when you’re putting this foam into your dry hair. It feels wrong, gross, cheap, like you’re trying to give yourself issues or make your hair dirty. But that’s just because it’s different in terms of application.But after you squeeze it in and scrunch throughout your head of hair, guess what? Your hair will come out huge, so voluminous, and with accented curls. The best next-day product I’ve ever used!It’s literally the weirdest turnaround! It feels weird and wrong as you’re putting it in, but then once it’s in, you can’t argue with the results.Don’t let the fact that it’s a dry mousse turn you off. It’s actually a really good, quality product that works fantastic for my curly hair.

I love this! It’s weird putting mouse in dry hair but it will dry and not be so stiff. I have straight hair but the underneath of my hair has nice curl and wave to it. Wish it was the other way around. I can wash my hair at night then the next morning take a couple of good golf ball size dollops and scrunch it all around and now my top layer matches the bottom layer. I concentrate a lot of it on my roots, gives me phenomenal lift. It also gives you good texture if you want to pin your hair up and have the soft curls kind of popping out and framing your face. I can’t get enough of the stuff!

I’m always apprehensive on putting this in dry hair. Not sure why as it says to use it that way. I like it, not love it. It does add body but if you use too much, you’re in for greasy looking hair. Going to try it in wet next use to see if it works well that way.

I love this stuff..really helps to style short hair. Good for spikey, messy look or add volume. Haven't been able to find in stores(it was cheaper)

When I received the product the container felt half empty. As for what the product actually does, it does great. it's not heavy on my hair and gives it that extra boost.

I have very, ridiculously thick hair, and depending on what part of the country (US) I live in it’s either frizzy, sooner curly, or coarse. I’ve never been able to find a product that could give me the control without weighing it down like I was wearing a helmet. Not only does it smooth my cal licks into submission it also gives the top of my hairstyle the extra oomph to make it sassy! I discovered Cake by accident at my local drugstore. I was so happy Amazon Carrie’s their products because they are not easy to find. If you have not tried any of them then HURRY up and order some because EVERYTHING I have used is wonderful,

I love the Cake brand lotion, the smell it absolutely wonderful, and I was super excited about trying the texture mousse, bc I thought it would be smell just as good as the lotion. However, when I tried it, and worked it through my hair, it didn't have much of the smell I was hoping for. I thought it might bring out the pretty smell when it dried, but it was the same. The only thing I've liked about the product is texture and holds my style while giving it some body.

My hair is so fine and thin it’s hard to do much of anything with the top of it. This product gives it the right amount of waves and fullness. When putting my hair up, Bobby-pins won’t slip out.
