Heavy conditioning without feeling greasy
Love the Giovanni products. This conditioner is thick without weighing my hair down. It doesn't have a strong smell and it keeps my hair feeling soft and prevents tangles after it is dry.

Awesome with no scent
I have been using this for years because I have bad asthma and can't have scents. It does have a slight scent but not harsh that it bothers me. It is awesome.

Shiny!
My daughter and I both have thick, straight, waist length hair. We go through a LOT of conditioner and it finally occurred to me to look for condition in a gallon size. There were not very options on Amazon- especially with names that I was familiar with. This got the best reviews on line that I could find. I'm not giving it five stars because it doesn't leave our hair smooth- it's not frizzy, but it feels slightly "sticky," like we used a leave on conditioner (which never works well for us)- though it might be good for additional body if that's what you need. However, I am giving it high marks because my own hair is very noticeably shinier than it has been in years! After one use! Like- it's glittering in the harsh light of my office! I can't stop looking at it!

Dont be afraid of the price, a little goes a LONG way.
The GIOVANNI Eco Chic 50:50 Balanced Hydrating Calming Conditioner is a fantastic choice. It is economical as a little product goes a long way. It provides excellent moisturization and has a really nice, light scent. With a household of five, this conditioner is likely to last for a year or even longer. Makes your hair lusciously soft. I am a happy mama.

Best conditioner
Most bang for the buck by the gallon. My favorite conditioner for 10 years now.

Itches, not like giovani conditioners I have enjoyed
This gets two stars cause who knows maybe someone else loves it. -Itches my scalp within 2 minutes of application. Worse if I let is sit before rinse. Was very excited to purchase Giovani conditioner in bulk because I have loved all the conditioners I have purchased from them in the past. Sadly, this had a different feel, texture, and an awful scent. Also doesn't rinse out smooth like other Giovanis. Im wondering if its possible this is a scam and its not even gionavi in the bottle? I returned it and I ethically I hate returning things. Save yourself the trouble. Sorry 🤷♂️

Best Replacement for Trader Joe's Nourish Conditioner
Like many women with curly hair and Black women with natural hair, I loved the TJ's Nourish conditioner and was devastated that they discontinued it. I learned many years back that it has the same formula as this Giovanni conditioner and confirmed once when I found a bottle in a TJ Maxx. The problem was always that Giovanni is FAR more expensive per bottle than the TJ's stuff, so I had planned to try other brands. Then I saw the huge bottle you can get (likely aimed at salons) and at $64 (which is what I paid) it's far less per bottle. It's still not as inexpensive as TJ's per ounce, yet it's close enough I feel comfortable getting it. What I like about this conditioner is that it's thick, which is super important for helping to detangle hair in the shower. I also stumbled on the fact that, if you fill up a bottle about 1/3rd and fill the rest with water, then shake, you get a very foamy, yet still thick, conditioner that works well for co-washing. I used to not like co-washing since it didn't feel "right" like a shampoo does. With this, it does feel right.
