Authentic Portuguese Piri Piri Chicken Sauce (485g | 16oz)

We recently visited Portugal, but never had the chance to try the Piri Piri sauce there, so I don’t know if this brand is authentic, but I can say it is really good. I rated it 4 star because the jar opening is to narrow to get a spoon in. All the goodness settles to the bottom so you need a spoon to get it out. We just transferred it to a wide mouthed jar.

First time ordered. Was ok and looked like the picture.This was the second time. Don't know wtf happened here (Both bottles). Thankfully Amazon refunded.

This sauce not only didn't deliver, the flavor was non-existent. I then went to the "ingredients" and saw that it listed, "vegetable oil". WHAT TYPE? This Carribean product comes from Canada! Ok, back to the sauce. I wasted two chicken breasts...there was NO flavor. I'm pouring this sauce into my trash. Sorry I purchased it.

This sauce had a lot of vegetable oil in it. The majority of the sauce is oil and the spices settle at the bottom. I would recommend draining the the out and putting the spices in another jar.

I would think home made once are way better otherwise this thing is 95% just oil. I would not recommend.

This product separates in the bottle so that the mixture must constantly be shaken otherwise all the peppers remain at the bottom of the bottle leaving only a thin liquid at the top. There are much better choices.
