Adjustable laser head for K40 (see note)
Bought to fit a K40 laser.Note head is not a direct fit for K40.Had to manufacture a new bracket to lower head by about 12mm.Added a couple of photos of new bracket.

Ordered this item only because it will take one or max two to receive the item, otherwise, I could buy it from china myself cheaper... Paid double price.

Reasonable quality and works well.
I bought this to replace the original dk40 head i have on my laser. Over the years I've replaced everything (case, motors, controller, internal frame, etc) except for the head and the mirror holders. Once I had worked out a way to mount it, it's worked perfectly. Alignment was good straight out of the box. The only niggle were the burs on the screen plates that hold the mirror and laser lens down. A quick run over with a small file and all was perfect.

Excellent laserhead
Bought this to replace a non adjustable Cloudray head and am loving the ease of setting the focal point now. Caution though it won't fit a stock K40 without a couple of mods to the laser itself.

Great upgrade from the stock head.
The best feature is being able to unscrew the lens holder without worrying about losing head position. The stock round head can be easily unscrewed while trying to change the lens. Also, this head allows for mirror alignment which is a huge plus. Also, this head has an adjustable lens cannon, which allows for a little height adjustment.It requires a bit of tinkering (a lot, really) to install it on the K40.

I like that the mirror has adjustments. it took some playing around to get the laser beam to go though the very small hole. the air assist part works well.The Head that holds the mirror sets higher than the old laser head so I had to place a shim under the laser tube to raise the strike of the laser beam. then I had to realign all of the mirrors. it wasn't difficult, just frustrating. Also the tube is too small for the hole in the bracket that holds it. It does have screw holes that match the mount but did not come with screws and it took awhile to find the right size.
