Vibrant colors!
Great selection of colors that are rich and vibrant. Goes on great. Easy to mix. Good price and value for the money. Will buy again.

Better Than Just Your Average Beginner Kit
The colors mix well and dilute appropriately. The color selection is versatile, though it's missing some staples like sepia and burnt umber, but those are easy enough to mix yourself with just what's here.Funny thing: The "Hot Pink" tube is actually deep pink and the "Deep Pink" is hot pink. The labels are switched.

Great customer service.
This was gummy to the point of being unusable: it barely felt water-soluble and was so clumpy no matter how I mixed it. Tried 6 colors to give it a fair shake, and 6/6 were clumpy enough to be useless. Complete waste of my money!EDIT: Wow, changing to four stars for amazing customer service! I didn't even **ask** for a refund and they reached out and offered me a refund or replacement! They clearly stand by their product and now I'm more likely to order from them in the future.

Gritty
Not impressed. Great variety of colors but the paint is very gritty and does not smoothe well. It'll do for playing around, but no serious paintings. Fine for my 6 year old to play with. Won't buy again for me.

Beautiful variety of color shades
I’m using these to paint background pages for junk journals. The color variety is perfect, they mix well, and work great for what I’m doing. I’m not a painter but for my backgrounds they are even better than expected! And the cost was minimal for all you get. The brushes were for detail work, but that’s ok because I buy the larger ones in bulk.

Love These
I use these paints directly out of the tubes and absolutely love them. I have purchased them a couple of times and have used them for canvases and even for painting birdhouses (then covering the houses with a couple of coats of clear polyurethane). There is such a wonderful variety of colors and the coverage is excellent, you can make it as thick and dark as you want or as light as you want. These are a staple in my crafts cabinet.

Worst Watercolors
These are some of the worst watercolors I have had the displeasure of interacting with! Granted I knew this would be a discount set and not the highest quality, I bought them for use mostly as background washes for illustrations and couldn't really even use them for that. The pigments are very muted and all look like they have been mixed with white, so it is like an entire set of pastel paints. It is very chalky, I included a swatch test using the Komorebi Mozart set and the Artsy Travel Set (two very good but also fairly inexpensive sets) and the difference is night and day. The texture is what really makes it awful, it almost feels oily, I have no idea what they used as a binder but it gives the paint the weirdest consistency, and there is no smoothness at all. Several of the colors just blatantly refuse to blend and it acts more like an acrylic in water and just separates from the pigment the more you dilute them. And do not even try to dry these on pans, they will crumble to dust.If you are a student or beginner looking to try out watercolor please pick a different set, the amount of colors and cheap price is tantalizing but I promise you there are better sets out there. Komorebi Mozart has a really nice tin and selection of colors if you want a ready selection and don't want to worry about color mixing. The Artsy Travel Set has surprisingly good paints even if their fan fold out setup is a bit of a pain, Mei Liang is well loved by Youtube (I have not tried it myself) and so forth. If you need tubes go for Arteza, they cannot really be dried out in pans without crumbling but they are still very richly pigmented and no where near as chalky. Sometimes cheap is great, and sometimes it is just crap, and in this case it is definitely crap.
