These lead holders are well-made and function as you would expect. They feel solid and comfortable, and the price was amazingly low. Since I am new to lead holders, the variety and amount of extra lead was helpful. I was able to try different options and find what works best for me.I have been surprised and pleased by how nice it is to write and draw with the lead holders. I've been using .5mm mechanical pencils for decades, and I'm sure glad I tried the 2mm lead holders, they work better than the .5mm lead in some cases. I won't need the extra erasers because I use separate Pentel eraser pens, and I won't need the sharpeners because I opted to purchase a Staedtler 502 lead pointer.

Absolutely excellent pencils, especially for the value. And it comes with a lot of extra lead refills.

First thing to know... these are drawing, layout and general writing pencils. What they are not are precision, .5mm drafting pencils. If you have need of a .5mm mechanical pencil, this is not your set. If you are looking for a decently made 2-pencil set with more lead than anyone could possibly use, look no further. They work well in my wood shop for general pencil work. However, no matter how well you sharpen them they will not work with layout rulers that require a .5mm lead to fit into a .5mm hole. As long as you know what you're ordering, you'll be very happy. They come with various lead in varying harnesses along with red and blue leads. The red and blue leads are soft and act like stiff crayons so don't get heavy handed with them or they will break off. Other than that, there's little not to like.

I had one of these pencils for years, always carried it around.... until one day it vanished into a gremlin hole or something. Decided recently to look for another like it.This set caught my eye, I liked the looks of them, liked that there were a set of them - I'd have a backup if I lost another one down that gremlin burrow, and all the extra lead included at a very reasonable price was a bonus. It was always a chore to find the 2mm leads, so now I think I have enough to last the rest of my life!That is if I don't forget where I stored them come the day I need them.I'm happy with the pencils.Now for the ironic bit...I get the set I ordered the other day, take them out, admire them, put them away, carry on with my day. Later on that day I am, finally, straightening up my place, trying to get rid of the clutter, and I pick up this basket full of pens from a shelf that I sat there years ago (I mean a ridiculous amount of pens, mostly from my bank that I've collected over the years.... I think I owe them about $10,000 for their pens.), so I pick it up to move it somewhere else, and what do I find under it?My mechanical pencil that vanished down that gremlin hole years ago.I sit around wondering now, if I didn't buy these pencils, would I have found my old one? Strange forces seem to be at play.

Absolutely great for drawing with instead of traditional wooden graphite pencils. I prefer mechanical pencils over traditional due to how easy the leads can break and mechanicals just have a better feel for control when drawing.

Live these pencils. Been using it since it arrived. Marks nice dark lines. Fits well in my hand. They are squared off so no rolling off the table or work bench. They do have some weight to it, feels balanced. Easy to sharpen. And the eraser actually rubs off the pencil mark lol.

So I was first introduced to nic pro macanical pencils about 3 years ago. I bought a set of 6 and quickly fell in love with the two 2mm graphite holders and lead that came in the set. So when I saw that they offered a set of 3 that also came with 6b lead I was super excited and bought them almost immediately believing that the pencils would be equal to the quality of the ones I already own. The package came in perfect condition and I was so excited but then I realized something extremely strange… first of all who the hell is NOHNE ? I was exspecting the holders to have the company name on them but they have the name of a whole different company on them. On top of that the pencils seem to be not only very low Quality but also are highly distressed as if they’ve been used for years. Everything else has the company name on it and seem perfectly brand new so… I don’t know what the hells going on but Id really appreciate it if nic pro would send me the 3 lead holders I’m SUPPOSED to have or perhaps a discount,because these are straight trash. I posted a photo of my old lead holder next to the one I got and there is a Huge difference in quality. my old ones litterally look newer then the new ones lol so yeah. Other then that I love the leads the sharpeners and the case. And I would still recommend nic pro to anyone looking for a good set of Mechanical pencils
