Q: Will this stop working in 8 quick months just like the last awful one I bought from Aukey?

I bought this 10 months ago, and it's been a daily driver since. No problems at all. I dont unplug my laptop unless I'm traveling.. so you can say it's been running non stop for 10 months.

Q: I have an hp envy 17 laptop. can this charger replace the charger that came with the laptop?

The wattage for that laptop charger is either 65W or 90W. You should be able to use this charger but it is going to charge slower as it is below the specs for the laptop.

Q: Update to my last question… will this charger work on a 13-inch 2015 MacBook Pro?

Yes, that is how I have used mine, and have not had any issues. Just make sure that you have a quality cable.

Q: Is this charger MagSafe 3 compatible?

What I can read about this MagSafe3 it is. The MS3 has the correct end to plug into the power adapter. I do not use the cord that came with it, I had to buy (from Amazon) a blue barrel plug for a laptop. Works EXTREMELY WELL!!.
